The program has potential but it doesn’t justify the price

I joined the Women on Stage program in autumn 2024, paying CHF 7000 out of pocket during a challenging point in my career. The three-month program promised access to the hidden job market, sponsor support, and personalised coaching. While there were valuable aspects, it ultimately didn’t deliver enough to justify the price. Much of the program focused on sponsor engagement and workshops, which didn’t live up to the expectations. As sponsors are volunteers, I was left questioning where my money was going. Midway through, I raised concerns and was offered additional coaching from Eylem. These sessions—especially one on salary negotiation—were helpful, but not part of the standard offer. This was also described to me as “psychological support,” which I found an inappropriate label from a non-medical professional. After hearing some of the complaints from other women who were too afraid to speak up, I gave further feedback again and was told, “no one forced you to sign up.” That response suggested little openness to honest reflection or accountability. I would like to highlight that of the three Saturday workshops, one stood out. In that session, we worked with coaches on interview practice and pitching, and received live feedback—it was both practical and well executed. I believe Eylem offers valuable insights in a one-on-one setting, but the autumn 2024 cohort lacked the consistency, structure, and personalization I expected from a CHF 7000 investment. It’s possible the experience felt more worthwhile for those who didn’t pay. I’m not sure how free places were awarded, but those of us working full-time paid the full fee. This was an expensive lesson—a reminder to do my due diligence before committing time and money. I hope sharing this helps others do the same.

Grateful for this journey that gently reignited my confidence...

I was fortunate enough to be included on the Women on Stage course between January and May 2025. Whilst apprehensive, after being out of the working world for a while, I entered this with an open mind, and honestly, that made all the difference. This kind of programme was outside my comfort zone, so being in a safe, supportive group was important to me, and that’s exactly what I found. Trust and psychological safety were built right from the get-go. The mentors and sponsors were incredibly generous with their time and insight, even while balancing high-profile full-time roles. It’s an intense 14-week journey packed with tools, tips, real conversations, and experiences. Sessions explore crafting an elevator pitch to nailing interview prep, I walked away with renewed self confidence and clarity. What made it special was the people, especially Eylem, the CEO. She brings warmth, empathy, and genuine passion to every session. She never promises quick fixes or guarantees; instead, she empowers you to put in the work, while creating a space where that effort is deeply supported. Everyone in the cohort felt it and the feedback reflected that. Being open to learning, feedback, and embracing change was key for me, and this course truly creates the space to do just that. Thank you to Eylem, the sponsors, mentors, and the other ladies in this group. I’m thrilled to share that through this programme, I secured a new job — a milestone that felt out of reach just a few months ago.

Unfulfilled Promises and High Costs

Unfortunately, this was a program that made excessive promises at the outset and was significantly overpriced. The cost of 7,000 CHF leaves me repeatedly questioning what justifies such a high amount. The sponsors were unreachable and certainly not available to support us after the program concluded, despite prior assurances to the contrary. Any criticism was strongly suppressed, accompanied by threats that speaking negatively about the program would jeopardize our prospects in the job market.
