I've now been dealing with this support thread for two days over a plugin issue that's preventing payments from going through on two of my websites. This is a serious, active problem for my business, and it still hasn't been escalated to a technical resolution. To make matters worse, my topic was archived by Shahzeen (@shahzeenfarooq) after one of my replies happened to be in all caps. That was not intended as abuse — it was frustration at a payment-blocking bug that's been open for two days — and using it as grounds to shut down the thread instead of addressing the actual issue is not an acceptable way to handle a paying customer's support request. I need this reopened and escalated to your technical team immediately. The plugin issue is the actual problem here and it still hasn't been fixed.

I ordered a plug in for my website it never worked. That waste part is after a year they changed my credit card a second time for an automatic renewal and refused to refund the charge. I contacted them within a few days of the extra charge.

The CS agents were kind and clearly did their best to help, but unfortunately the overall support journey was very frustrating. I had a different agent for every ticket, lots of back and forth, and tickets were closed, sending you emails to rate your experience, even though the problem wasn't resolved. I also received technical instructions that led to further issues instead of solving the original one. I spent almost two weeks trying to get everything working in *test mode*. The setup itself was mostly complete. I only had two issues: 1. Setting up my taxes for the countries I'd sell to, which was a quick fix and the first agent solved that quickly. Thank you! 2. New issue: customers were unable to download their product after checkout in test mode. Every new instruction since issue 2 led to new technical issues that lasted for almost two weeks. And in the end, it was my original issue that still didn't get solved. I kept having to solve new technical issues and never getting to the 2nd one. I never got to launch my shop. Eventually, I decided to delete everything and move to SureCart, where the process has been much smoother and simpler. Some things that could really improve the support experience: 1. Keep one agent with a ticket until the problem is resolved. And communicate why you transfer your ticket to a new agent. Is it their expertise? Is it being escalated, etc. 2. Test solutions should be done fully on the backend before instructing customers, provide relevant help articles at the start, ask for clarification instead of making assumptions, and repeat the issue back when something isn't clear. 3. Maybe have a procedure with time frames for when an issue is taking way longer than it should and what to do. 4. I also think WooCommerce could benefit from stronger UX design. It's powerful, but parts of the interface aren't very intuitive. The agents were trying to help; my feedback is mainly about improving the process so customers don't spend weeks going in circles. And always be kind to the agents their humans like us, dealing with lots of frustrated customers. I can imagine it is draining and exhausting. Good luck!

I used WooCommerce on my last website. It did its job. My new website has been on hold for going on 8 days while I wait for someone to respond to my support ticket. I got an email from its marketing department asking how my experience had been with the person assigned to my ticket. The ticket that no work has been completed on. When I tried to click the Not Good icon to respond to the marketing department, it took me to a Page Not Found. I can't make a cent until this problem is resolved and this is the company that handles my income. 😢
