marketing, sales pitches and pushing to buy more from them The blog that I have with them, from the very star and since then continuously for many, many years, is not their free plan, but the payable Personal plan. And they cannot know that there is absolutely no commercial content of any sorts in my blog. Unless their algorithms and AI robots are incredibly dumb. Yet, they keep bombarding me with offers to upgrade, to purchase plugins, to do this and to do that by paying them more money. What they are doing is fishing with a net… In my case, it has become a harassment. It is very disappointing, considering that have paid a lot of money to them, for many, many years, for a blog which has never been created nor ever used for any pecuniary purposes. I guess they are also fishing with a rod. And they think that they have hooked me. The most dishonest way they are trying to push me into buying something that iIdo not need at all, is by distorting my stats !! So that I pay them more, if I want to even see them ! While my blog has ZERO commercial content. Shame.

Soy usuaria de WordPress desde hace años porque mi informático creó mi web con esta plataforma. Sinceramente, mi experiencia ha sido bastante nefasta. La sigo utilizando únicamente porque no quiero pasar por el proceso de crear una web nueva desde cero. Editar con WordPress puede llegar a ser una auténtica pesadilla. Para hacer un retoque tan sencillo como cambiar un texto o sustituir una foto, puedes acabar perdiendo muchísimo tiempo. El editor muchas veces no responde como debería: el cursor no selecciona correctamente, acabas modificando elementos que no querías tocar y tienes que volver a empezar. Además, en mi caso es extremadamente lento y el uso de plantillas todavía complica más la edición. He llegado a perder horas intentando hacer cambios que deberían llevar apenas unos minutos. Si es tu primera vez creando una página web y buscas algo sencillo e intuitivo que puedas gestionar tú mismo, personalmente no recomendaría WordPress en absoluto. La experiencia de usuario es nefasta.

Pathetic inexistent customer service
One of our customers registered two domains through WordPress.com, and they’ve suddenly disappeared from the Domains tab for no apparent reason. If we try to access them through the “Manage” link on the invoice, we just get a 500 error. This should be a pretty straightforward issue for their support team to fix… if only they would actually respond. I’ve contacted them twice. Both times, it took around 24 hours to get a generic response that completely ignored the actual issue. Even worse, they close the ticket immediately after replying, so I can’t even respond to clarify the problem. At this point, I’m seriously considering filing a complaint with ICANN.

Don't use the AI within Wordpress to build your website
I am writing particularly about the AI interface within Wordpress which supposedly can design you an entire website within minutes! I use AI a lot for all kinds of tasks, with a lot of success. Here, however, the AI was unable to follow simple tasks, went round and round in circles, and ultimately failed to build me anything like an acceptable website.
