WORLDFIRST: REFUND LOST IN THEIR SYSTEM
WORLDFIRST — €800 REFUND LOST IN THEIR SYSTEM Extremely disappointing experience with WorldFirst. A supplier sent us an €800 refund directly to a WorldFirst IBAN. We provided WorldFirst with the official proof of payment, including the sender and recipient details, date, amount and the unique End-to-End ID. WorldFirst itself acknowledged that the payment appears to have gone into its pooled account, yet weeks later they still cannot locate or credit the money to our account. Instead, they keep asking us for an MT103, despite this being a SEPA payment and the sender already providing all available payment documentation. We are now left chasing €800 that was sent to WorldFirst's own account. For a financial institution, this level of payment reconciliation and customer support is simply unacceptable. If you are considering WorldFirst for your business, I would seriously think twice.

10+ Days Under Review — Extremely Poor Service
Very third-class service. My account has been under review for more than 10 days, and my identity verification still hasn’t been completed. I have to check every day, but the problem remains the same. They are running ads like crazy, but the service is absolutely third-class. Very disappointing.

Fantastic customer service
Fantastic customer service, I had a little issue with the VAT in Poland from five years ago, Worldfirst went above and beyond to dig out the historic paperwork for me. This is a genuine review, look at my other reviews, I rarely have anything good to say about companies.

Was some troubles to open an account…
Was some troubles to open an account with them and unfortunately was looking for reviews after opening process. I was opening this account thanks to the cashback website but decided to check if they treating customers fair by waiting how the cashback will be paid , unfortunately was refused with reason from nowhere and that shows me this company is not worth of trust. I immediately closed the account. Definitely not recomended.

Unclear Funding Rules and Poor Handling of Business Transfers
Our experience with WorldFirst has been disappointing. An authorised representative of our company, who handles the company’s account and transaction matters, transferred personal funds into the company’s WorldFirst account for business purposes. We fully understand the need for AML, KYC and source-of-funds checks. The issue is that WorldFirst’s restrictions around funding a company account from an authorised representative’s personal account were not sufficiently clear to us before the transfer was made. What made the process more confusing was that WorldFirst initially asked us to explain the relationship between the company and the remitter and provide supporting documents. The transfer was subsequently rejected. WorldFirst also distinguishes between account “top-ups” and other incoming payments, but this distinction and the different funding requirements are not sufficiently obvious from a customer’s perspective. If an authorised representative, director or other related party is prohibited from funding a company account from their personal account, this should be stated clearly and prominently before customers initiate the transfer. For a platform designed to facilitate international business payments, unclear rules surrounding something as fundamental as funding your business account can cause unnecessary delays and disruption. Unfortunately, this experience has significantly reduced our confidence in using WorldFirst for our future business payments.
