Missing items poor customer service
I live in Japan and have used WOB numerous times, I keep having the same issue, packages do not arrive but WOB system claims they have. Emails from customer services refuse to answer my questions and because I deal with AI or different person every time I have to retell my entire story. WOB is best avoided, plus as they are now owned by a discredited private equity firm anyone with ethical or moral shopping principles can not really justify buying through WOB

Had a very positive experience with this company. Sold books to three companies at the same time and felt this company to be the only honest one. The others either significantly underpaid with falsehoods or found books to be missing, which was untrue. World of books paid for all books In full and the payment was speedy.

Terrible!!
I sent in my books a week and 2 days ago ! No update , no email. Checked only and it said 3-5 working days it's been nine!! I tried to contact the company but the help system doesn't help! And customer support isn't even a thing ! Don't sell your hooks here !

Very poor customer service
I returned 4 books by tracked delivery within 5 days of receiving them as they where no longer required and asked for a full refund, 3 weeks later I have not received any refund. I've sent emails to customer services and received a generic reply within 30 seconds with no mention of a refund. I've rung customer services only to listen to the message 'due to corona virus our phone lines have been taken down' great help. Watson the online chat bot is a total waste of time as your never given the option to discuss a refund. I cant see how Im ever going to receive my refund so just a warning to everyone that once they have your money you'll find it very hard to get it back so beware.

At this point, I just want my books back, so I can sell them to someone else. NEVER got the direct bank payment. You lost the 2nd box of books.
