Clogs comfortable but not quite right

I cannot in good conscience recommend the Gardy Jolly clogs that I received from Yacht Supply. I ordered these to replace my 10-year-old Jolly clogs that were still in fantastic shape excepting a crack that had formed in the top. The new shoes I received are comfortable, and I like the slightly lower back edge. However, on the first wearing, the outer coating began to wear off. I wear clogs only for 10-20 minutes at a time, as I go out around my home. On the bottom, the shoes are peeling at the edges, and the surface on the top of the shoes is warped and bubbly. This particular pair was not a good purchase. ----------------------------------- Addition: The response from Yacht Supply has been unexpectedly helpful and swift, and I could not possibly have asked for more. I hope that the issue turns out to be limited to this particular pair of shoes!

These clogs were supplied to us through a well-established and respected Dutch distributor, so your feedback is quite surprising and something we take seriously. We will refund your purchase in full immediately. There is no need to return the clogs. If possible, could you please send us a few photos showing the issues you described? We'd like to forward them to our distributor for investigation. If it turns out there is a quality issue with this product, we will remove it from our website to help prevent other customers from having the same experience. Avoid if you can

Where to start...I have ordered a boat table and they didn't have it available. They offered to contact the manufacturer and they did a good job and even managed to get the table within 2 weeks, which was earlier than planned. Customer service is available on whatsapp which is pretty convenient. But, here come the highlight... The shipment is sent from Netherland to Croatia. I was naive unfortunately, thought it would be sent by an international carrier such as DHD, GLS, UPS, but no they use a local post! Which means, you can track the package while it is the Netherland, but after that no traces of the package, no tracking number, no one know where the package is currently. For the last 7 days, my package is somewhere but no one knows where?! This is what happens when you try to save the money but on wrong things. Final result : no package, bad review, deleted app and avoiding them in the future! Get serious guys, who the hell uses post office for international deliveries. You could also at least notify the customers that they will have to wait for delivery for the next 2 weeks! Because if I knew that I would never place my order!

UPDATE: The parcel was delivered approximately 48 hours after this review was posted. The review was written on Friday evening, while the shipment was already in transit within Croatia, and the parcel was successfully delivered on Monday morning. Original response: Thank you for your review. To be honest, we find this review quite surprising. Your 8 kg tabletop was shipped from the Netherlands using the international PostNL parcel service, which is then handed over to Croatian Post for final delivery. This is a standard international shipping method used successfully for hundreds of our parcels every month. Using DHL, UPS or similar express couriers for a shipment of this size would have cost significantly more—potentially more than the tabletop itself—which is why our standard shipping service was used, exactly as agreed. You were also fully informed throughout the process. We contacted the manufacturer on your behalf, managed to obtain the tabletop much sooner than originally expected, and dispatched it within the agreed timeframe. We do not understand why you concluded that you would never receive your parcel simply because the final delivery was being handled by your national postal service. International postal tracking is not always updated in real time during handover between postal operators, but this does not mean the parcel is lost. We always strive to provide the best balance between shipping cost and delivery reliability, and in this case we delivered exactly what had been agreed. For these reasons, we feel this review does not fairly reflect the service you actually received.
