Regrettably had a bike accident during…
Regrettably had a bike accident during a major race and ended up in hospital. Two months on a repeated chaser emails later and absolutely nothing from Yellow Jersey. All they do is refer you to their third part claims handling company who do not respond to anything. Avoid Yellow jersey if you actually need to make a claim. They are excellent at taking your money but very poor if you want some of it back.

DO NOT USE YELLOW JERSEY FOR YOUR TRIP INSURANCE. You have been warned!! This company are just a sales front selling other companies policies. The company they use are Gallagher Bassett. Please read the reviews of this company. They are beyond bad... Uncontactable by phone or email. so when things don't go well trying to contact Gallagher, you try to ring the company that sold you the policy, Yellow Jersey. They don't give two hoots now. They have had your premium made their cut. Yes, they offered to reach out for me to Gallagher to get them to contact me but apparently once they take your money the issue isn't their issue anymore (it is in the policy wording), they will keep telling you, until you hang up. I repeat DO NOT USE THESE FOR YOUR EXPENSIVE BIKING HOLIDAYS!!! You are mad if you do. Find another company that uses a reputable, household name insurer and make sure you can contact them before purchasing the insurance. Edit: Further to my original issues. The claims handler then tells me that the £100 family excess (£60 for an individual) as per Yellow Jersey policy actually applies to every family member on the policy. Yellow Jersey Policy information states and reads as £100 per family. I argue this detail and she comes back to tell me it's per family member up to £200. Honestly I have never heard so much rubbish. Look at how YJ advertise their policy. I would have been better off taking out three individual policies in that case. (3 in my family) I am still £100 short on what I am owed because of this but they have said after a lot of arguing and they still won't admit they are wrong. Which they are. That they will give me the other £100 back in good will lol...lol...lol. Still not had it. There is no good will here just blatant lies and miss-selling. Never, ever, again.

Fantastic Company. Insurance easily arranged at a great price point. Unfortunately, I had an accident and had to use the insurance - having my helicopter evac and treatment covered was simple and hassle free. Just as it should be. Very impressed. Thank you Yellow Jersey and Helix Insurabce.
