Implantation Herzschrittmacher
Am 17.05.2026 bin ich nach mehrmaligem Herzstillstand ins Yücelen Krankenhaus in Ortaca gebracht worden. Dort sofortige Notfallbehandlung mit externem Herzschrittmachen etc. . Dem behandelnden Kardiologen war sehr bald klar, dass bei mir ein permanenter Herzschrittmacher implantiert werde müsse, was aber nur in Mugla im Yücelen Krankenhaus erfolgen könne. Daraufhin wurde ich zwei Tage später mir der Ambulanz nach Mugla verlegt. Die Versorgung, Behandlung und deutschsprachige Betreuung in Ortaca war absolut professionell und freundlich. In Mugla kam ich auf die Intensivstation und mir wurde sofort ein Guide, Herr Furkan, an die Seite gestellt, der mich während meines Aufenthaltes im KH wunderbar betreut hat und mir alle weiteren notwendigen Schritte und Infos des behandelnden Kardiologen Dr. Sahin Aydin übersetzt hat. Am 20.5. erfolgte die Implantation des permanenten Herzschrittmachers und nach einem weiteren Aufenthalt von einem Tag bin nach Hause entlassen worden. Seitdem geht es mir so gut wie schon lange nicht mehr und ich fühle mich wie ein neuer Mensch. Ein Dankeschön an Dr. Sahin Bey und an meinen Betreuer Furkan Bey sowie an das gesamte Team der Kardiologie.

My friend fell whilst on holiday and was treated at Ozel Yucelen Hastanesi in Muğla. The surgeon was brilliant—not only in successfully replacing her broken hip, but also in being such a kind, friendly, and caring person throughout her treatment. The standout reason her stay was made so much easier, however, was Furkan, our interpreter. He was probably the kindest and most caring person we could have hoped to meet. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he was always there offering assistance before we even realised we needed it. His support, compassion, and professionalism made an incredibly difficult situation far less stressful. Valerie and I cannot thank him enough for everything he did for us. We will always be grateful for his kindness and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone needing medical care.

I recently underwent breast augmentation surgery at Yucelen Hospital in Muğla, Turkey, and I could not be more pleased with the care and support I received throughout my entire experience. For over a month before my surgery, I was in regular contact with Tayfun, who spoke excellent English and was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. He guided me through every step of the process and continues to stay in touch even now. I travelled from Northern Ireland and arrived at the hospital on a Sunday, where Tayfun was there to personally greet me. After completing all of my pre-operative assessments, I met with my surgeon, Dr. Sabahattin Kandal, the following morning. Although I had already spoken with him via FaceTime before travelling to Turkey, I was naturally feeling nervous. However, Dr. Kandal immediately put me at ease with his professionalism, expertise, and compassionate approach. Following my surgery, I received outstanding care from both the nursing staff and the hospital team. My room was comfortable, and I felt very well looked after throughout my stay. I was particularly impressed when Dr. Kandal personally came to check on me at 10 p.m. after my operation. The following morning, Dr. Kandal identified a haematoma in one breast and acted immediately, taking me back to surgery to correct the issue. He explained everything clearly, kept me informed throughout, and made me feel calm, reassured, and genuinely cared for at every stage. Since being discharged, Dr. Kandal has remained in regular contact, and even now, a week after returning home, both he and Tayfun continue to check on my recovery daily. Their dedication to patient care extends far beyond the hospital stay, which has been truly remarkable. I would highly recommend Yucelen Hospital, Dr. Sabahattin Kandal, and Tayfun to anyone considering plastic surgery. The level of care, professionalism, and support I received was absolutely exceptional. A truly outstanding experience from start to finish.

A day after arriving for my holiday I…
A day after arriving for my holiday I had to have emergency surgery to remove my appendix. Everything happened so quickly, scans, bloods, surgery. Dr. Alper Boz, the Medical Translator and the Guest Relation manager did everything to ensure I was comfortable and informed. My husband was able to stay with me for the 6 days which definitely helped. They assisted with the insurance, taxis etc which also helped take some of the stress away. Thankyou

Once again we have to say how happy we are with Yücelen Hospital in Marmaris. The doctors are so experienced! The lastest doctor my husband has seen was the neurologist, Dr. Ibrahim Salman. A serious doctor that asks everything to the pacient and examines him very detailed and carefully. He only requests a special examine if it’s really necessary. And seems to do a good diagnostic. Thank you once again! And thanks to Yiğit, our favourite translator, the communication is easy.
