Ordered a £88 dress not quite the same…

Ordered a £88 dress not quite the same colour as the photo, feels like really cheap material, the dress I ordered was too big even though I followed the size chart and should of been on the smaller size for me so I asked for a return but you have to pay for a return and send it from UK to US which was too expensive so they offered me an exchange which I would keep the dress that’s too big and buy a smaller one with a £55 coupon but I thought it’s too risky if the next one doesn’t fit, then end up spending around £130 total for a dress that fits or two that don’t. The dress doesn’t even have any brand labels or washing label instructions and comes from china. Not worth buying from, I’m now stuck with a dress which I’m going to have to get someone to alter for a wedding

Appalling Company

Never ever use this company its absolutely appalling,advertising as UK based company, absolutely not items ordered are shipped from a farm in Texas which occurs massive return costs at your expense as they don't issue return labels. My dress arrived in an absolute state, not true size, cheap & nasty, stained, cut wrong, fasteners broken. Contacted customer service never received such appalling service, unprofessional, ignorant, condescending and useless, completely ignoring my emails regarding the state if the dress & offering me a £28 refund when the dress cost £104 or a £35 voucher, as if I would actually purchase another dress from them absolutely not. Do not use this disgraceful company unless you want t to be robbed.

The clothing looks really nice in the…

The clothing looks really nice in the pictures but nothing like what actually arrives. They have return policies which flout UK consumer law and require you to return to the USA to obtain a refund, but you have to pay all the shipping costs in both directions. Not a UK company and not worth the stress. Better just to throw your money away or just order from Temu for the quality you will actually receive. Quite a sophisticated scam really.

Awful experience with ZAPAKA

States there is easy returns but its far from easy to return. States they have a UK warehouse and that they send from your nearest warehouse - lies - it came from Texas, USA. Customer service awful and dismissive. I am stuck with a dress that doesn't fit. Unable to send back because it will cost not far off the same amount as the dress itself. This was supposed to be a wonderful experience looking for the right wedding dress although, they have hindered this for me with all the drama with emails and chats back and forth. Really unhappy with this company and the way I have been treated. Even expressed my heartbreak about this matter and no cares were given infact, didn't even acknowledge that part of my complaint . Please do not use this website there are so many better ones with better customer service and support. Say no to ZAPAKA - absolutely shocking! Learned a lesson though, always, always check reviews before purchasing anything. Update regarding reply below - the resolution was to refund me £38.00 for a dress that cost most £120.00 after expressing to you the complete shock I had, when quoted at the post office, £70.00 to return and, after the Post Office told me to request a free returns label which ZAPAKA stated they could not do. £38.00 from £120.00 - I was backed into a corner by yourselves and felt that all I could do to get any of my money back was to agree to £38.00 I'm so bloody upset over this. It really has had a negative impact on my wedding shop experience 😢 and I hope others do not go through what I have.

What an awful experience

What an awful experience. I have posted a review on their website but I’m sure it will be deleted. So for all to read and to issue a warning NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. They are con artists and charlatans. So what was wrong i hear you say. Delivery took over 3 weeks even though money taken immediately. Sizing is absolute rubbish i ordered a large as I’m UK size 16 it was barely a UK size 10!!!! Contacted Customer Service to explain my concerns to be given 3 options. I chose to repackage and return following their strict stipulations about photos, tracking and not to use FedEx as expensive. Quote the Post Office gave me was for £50. I refuse to pay that sort of money to return an item that was not fit for purpose. I didn’t want a $30 voucher as I will never purchase anything ever again from them so had to cut my losses and take £26 as a final settlement. I am now out of pocket to the tune of £80 and I still have to buy another outfit for my special occasion. Companies like these are forcing our high street shops to fold. It’s an utter disgrace and I feel totally cheated. They make the process of returning substandard goods so difficult and expensive but I’m sure that is how they make their money. Shouldn’t be allowed to trade.
