I’ve got to say, activision really made my entire 35 years of gaming just 1000% worth wild. I’ve seen so many people talking about, long time supporters of call of duty are randomly getting beta codes to experience the new call of duty modern warfare 4. Well I thought for sure I would get one. I’ve been playing call of duty since 2003. I took a chance and just emailed them. I let them know everything I just told you and that I’ve purchased every call of duty that has ever come out. I’ve never had anything bad to say about COD. COD has brought me so many memories throughout the years. I just want to say thanks for everything and thank you for giving me the chance to experience MW4. Truly is one hell of a game.

I have been playing Call of Duty since the Modern Warfare reboot in 2019 – over six years. I have spent nearly £150 on my Activision account across Battle Passes, skins, and bundles. On August 12, 2026, my account was permanently banned. No warning. No explanation. I was not cheating. I am a software developer and had Visual Studio open for a legitimate coding project. I had minimized Call of Duty and forgot it was running. I launched my compiled code, and seconds later, Ricochet flagged the development processes as cheating and banned me permanently. I submitted a ban appeal and a hacked account recovery request with screenshots of my clean coding projects and antivirus logs showing a malware infection. Activision replied saying they were "looking into" my account. Days later, they sent a generic denial claiming "no suspicious activity" – no evidence, no specific reason, no confirmation a human ever reviewed my case. They lied about investigating. They took my £150. They gave me a robotic denial. They ignored my evidence. This is theft, plain and simple. I am not alone. Thousands of players have been banned for false positives – RGB software, AutoHotkey, Discord overlays. Activision's anti-cheat is broken, but they refuse to admit it. I have tried every channel. All denied. All ignored. They know most people give up. They are counting on it. I have been a loyal customer for six years. I defended this franchise. I bought every game. And this is how they repay me – by stealing my money and ignoring me. To anyone reading: your loyalty means nothing to Activision. You are a revenue stream. Their broken anti-cheat will ban you on a whim, and they will never give you a fair hearing. I will never buy another Activision product. I will warn everyone I can. They lost a loyal customer forever. Avoid this company. if you want to still have your dignity

The company basically logged me out and deleted my own account. Blamed it on parental controls when I never had any in place. Wouldn’t send a verification email. Absolutely number support phone number or even an email. The lack of a number alone is unimaginably horrible. The waste of my hours trying to recover my own account for my own game is insane. I was about ready to buy the new BO1 and BO2 games too, but now I will never buy an activation or blizzard product in my life!

My account was compromised and permanently banned over a year ago, and despite contacting support and submitting an appeal, my request was denied. It’s extremely frustrating to be banned for something that was completely out of my control. I have been a loyal Call of Duty player since Black Ops 1 when I was a kid, and I’ve continued supporting the franchise ever since. I mainly play Zombies, and Call of Duty has been a big part of my gaming experience for many years. Having both my Steam and Blizzard accounts permanently banned from all Call of Duty titles because of someone else’s actions has honestly been very upsetting. What makes this even harder to understand is that the person who accessed my account was reportedly based in the United States, while I am located in the United Kingdom. Because of that, I struggle to understand how the suspicious login activity was not detected or flagged by the security system. It’s a terrible feeling knowing that years of progress, purchases, and memories can be lost because of an account compromise that was not your fault. Situations like this make players feel helpless, especially when there seems to be no opportunity for a fair review after the damage has already been done. Mirrorrs #21230

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
