I have booked through you many times…
I have booked through you many times over the past few years without any issues or need for customer service. However, during my most recent vacation, I needed your assistance twice and received terrible service. On one occasion, I asked to cancel a single night of the trip; I was immediately refused, even though the hotel had approved the change. On the second occasion, I accidentally booked a room for a date three months in the future—a mistake I only discovered upon arriving at the hotel. I re-booked through you so that the future reservation could be cancelled, yet I was refused again, despite the hotel stating there was no problem. If you do not issue a refund, I will make sure to publicize this terrible experience across all social media platforms to my tens of thousands of followers and colleagues. Your treatment of customers is truly shameful!

Title: Misleading deals hidden behind deliberate friction. Review: Agoda entices you with lower prices attached to "cashback," but the entire process to claim a few dollars is intentionally friction-heavy. You’re forced into the app, made to wait 5–10 minutes for email OTPs, and required to hand over your full home address and bank details just to claim a minor reward. It feels intentionally designed so the average customer gives up. Having dealt with their unhelpful support and rigid booking traps over the years, I've had enough. Trip.com operates far more honestly and offers genuine customer support without the games. I'll be taking my business there instead.

No more extended waiting time to pay.
I recently made a booking for 3 rooms at a Danang Hotel for myself and friends for May 2027,which I've done many times in the past. For some strange reason they've changed their payment terms, which previously had allowed changes or cancellation possible up to about 14 days prior to arrival, and payment required about the same time. However, I recently changed my booking by changing the departure by one day, which meant cancelling the original booking and rebooking with the new dates. But the new booking was charged to my credit car immediately on accepting the booking, not just confirming the booking. I'm disgusted by this as its never happened in all the years and countless bookings I've made with them. Really poor form. I contacted them via the Chat, and got absolutely nowhere, thus this review. Be careful with your booking especially if its a long way off.

Booked room with Agoda got confirmation…
Booked room with Agoda got confirmation of booking. Go to hotel and there were no rooms available. The lady at the front desk admitted it was there fault. Been trying all day to get money back but hitting a brick wall with Agoda. First time using them and will never use them again. Beware they will steal your money!!!!!
