AVOID AT ALL COST - BREAKS UK CONSUMER LAW! I bought an item in store and the price was not displayed on the ticket nor did the associate tell me the price. I tapped my card without really thinking as I was with my toddler (we were also in the store for a press appointment for my friend who is an influencer). It wasn't till I left the store that I realised they had charged me £60 for a child's t-shirt. Daylight robbery! Anyway I went back into the store to do the refund but was told they don't offer refunds and turned away. At no point during the purchase was I told or informed either verbally or visually that refunds are not permitted. Frankly it's a con. I have tried to contact customer service but they are refusing to assist. Absolutely appalling. I am a talent manager myself and will be speaking to all the influencers I know about this experience. *I should also add that this is actually a violation of UK consumer law. It is essential that this information be given to you at the point of purchase if refunds are not permitted by a retailer. Essentially they are breaking the law.

Shocking returns procedure
Shocking returns procedure. You have to send all returns to France, and pay for it. Couriers require EOIR numbers, commodity codes, email addresses etc. for customs and duty - none of which are accessible on the American Vintage site. I love the clothing, but please sort out your returns.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Wish I had seen these reviews beforehand. Would not recommend ordering if you’re in the UK. Very expensive and painful return process. Customer service very unhelpful and just stopped replying after the first email. Quality of clothing not as expected for the price.

Issue Resolved, But the Process Was Frustrating
UPDATE: The UPS investigation was resolved on 14 August, despite initially being advised that I might need to wait up to 14 days. Customer service agreed to proceed with a refund on the same day. Interestingly, UPS then located the parcel and delivered it to me the following morning, and I have now asked AMV to cancel the refund process. ---------------------------------------------- I love American Vintage products, but my recent online shopping experience has been extremely disappointing. Their website states that standard delivery takes 2–4 business days, yet I had already been waiting for my order for 10 days (8 business days). One of my parcels went missing with UPS and had no tracking updates for almost a week. I understand that courier problems can happen, but what is unacceptable is the way American Vintage handled the situation afterwards. It took me 3 days of trying the online form, phone, Live Chat, WhatsApp, Instagram and email just to get through to Customer Service. I also contacted UPS and opened an investigation myself, but they told me that the sender also needed to contact them to investigate the missing parcel. I was then told by American Vintage to wait another 14 days for a response, despite clearly explaining that I would soon be away from the delivery address. I asked whether they could send an express replacement or issue a refund, but no practical solution was offered, and one of the Live Chats was even ended while I was still trying to resolve the issue. The problem isn’t simply that a parcel went missing. The problem is being left without the goods I paid for while the retailer offers no reasonable solution other than waiting. This is a huge contrast to the smooth online shopping and customer service experiences I’ve had with other French brands.

Un très beau débardeur ❤️, nouvelle collection.
Je viens de recevoir mon débardeur AFOMA, couleur bleu ténèbre. Exactement ce que je voulais. 🫶💯 Sans manche, tenue impeccable, tissu doux et structuré. 👍 Je suis fan. Un peu cher 😮 tout de même, même si la qualité est très grande. Amélioration proposée qui changerait tout pour moi: - mise en place d’une livraison en pick-up ou relais. Très contraignant de devoir se lever à 7h30 en vacances pour récupérer un colis 🥱😐
