$14,000 Invested (24 Accounts): A Loyal Trader's Journey, Broken Promises, and Execution Double Standards
I am writing this not just as a complaint, but as constructive feedback from one of Brightfunded’s most loyal clients. I have purchased 24 evaluation accounts, investing nearly $14,000 into this firm. I have always appreciated this company—especially when I was previously provided with a free account—and I respected that your rules were transparent and didn’t penalize traders over trivial things. Because of my respect for the firm, I made a direct promise to the CEO that I would not publicly complain about past slippage issues. When my recent $92,200+ funded account suffered a critical system failure, I reached out to the CEO and management via email, hoping to resolve the matter privately and honor my promise. Unfortunately, my emails were completely ignored. This silence left me no choice but to seek help publicly. The Execution Double Standard: 1. The 209-Pip Slippage & Psychological Toll: On August 12, my Stop Loss on XAU/USD suffered a massive 209-pip negative slippage (executed at 4382.08 instead of 4403). When I reported this, support sent a copy-pasted reply stating: "During volatility, orders are executed at the next best available price." Shockingly, they even advised me to "set stop-loss levels with a bit more margin"—as if leaving a 200+ pip margin on Gold is logical risk management! That specific unfair loss completely destroyed my trading psychology at the time, pushing me into a revenge-trading mindset just to recover the money unfairly taken by the system. Still, I kept my promise to the CEO and stayed quiet. 2. The Ignored Take Profit: Fast forward to August 26, the exact opposite happened. I held 3 Buy positions on XAU/USD with a Take Profit (TP) explicitly set at 4668.00. The market price surged past 4671.00—over 30 pips beyond my target. If your rule is execution at the "next best available price," why wasn't my TP triggered at 4668, 4669, or 4670? Instead, the system completely ignored it. When I asked for an explanation, support absurdly claimed it was because I "didn't have a Stop Loss set"—a reasoning that has absolutely zero technical connection to a TP triggering. The Financial Impact: Because of this execution failure, my funded account balance, which was at $92,200 and should have successfully grown to $94,500 - $95,000, was ultimately lost. It is incredibly unfair to penalize a trader with 209-pip slippages on one hand while ignoring their valid 30-pip profits on the other. A Request for Fairness and Transparency: I am leaving this review here in the hope that it reaches the right desk. How Brightfunded handles a loyal, high-volume client facing a clear system contradiction will show every trader how safe their funded accounts really are. I kindly ask you to review the raw server logs for tickets #5041596, #5041600, and #5041779 and reinstate my account fairly. I still believe in the potential of Brightfunded and hope we can resolve this positively and continue our long-term collaboration. I am now awaiting a response from the firm's management.
