No Deposit, Fair Price, Zero Hassle

The thing that made the decision easy was no deposit. Almost everyone else wanted a big amount blocked on my card for the whole rental, and the insurance quotes were double what CarQ charged. Nothing was hidden either. What I was quoted online was exactly what I paid at the end of the seven days, no extra charges appearing at return. Pickup took about twenty minutes. The car was clean, premium, recently serviced and comfortable, and it handled everything I threw at it over the week, city traffic and longer drives out of town included. Armando, the manager, is the reason I’ll come back. He answered messages quickly even outside working hours, was flexible when my return time shifted, and explained the terms honestly rather than pushing extras I didn’t need. If you want a car in Tirana without deposits, inflated insurance or nasty surprises at the end, CarQ is worth your booking. Thanks Armando and team.

Really great experience with CarQ in Tirana! Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The employees were super friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. The car was clean, comfortable, and in very good condition. We were really happy with the service and would definitely recommend CarQ to anyone visiting Albania. Would happily rent from them again!

Betrug | Scam

Betrugsmasche! Hier wird ausdrücklich auf das Kleingedruckte verwiesen, dass keine Kreditkarten von Online-Banken für die Kaution akzeptiert werden. Und das wird knallhart ausgenutzt. Wir mussten wie viele andere vor uns eine Zusatzversicherung für 25€ pro Tag bezahlen damit wir das Fahrzeug bekommen haben. Man wird hier vor vollendete Tatsachen gestellt. Das Fahrzeug war untermotorisiert und hatte kein Navi.

Regarding online bank cards, we would like to clarify that our terms and conditions explicitly state that such cards cannot be accepted for the security deposit, for a variety of reasons. However, we do accept these cards for payments, as payments do not involve blocking or pre-authorizing a security deposit. For this reason our colleagues at Tirana advised you to contact your broker so that they could explain the available options to you. As you did so and you were informed that the available options were either to purchase full coverage or to cancel the reservation. You subsequently chose to purchase the full coverage. We would also like to clarify that it is not our company policy to press customers into purchasing additional products or insurance. The purchase of full coverage was therefore entirely optional and was chosen by you based on the options provided by the broker. Regarding your comment about the vehicle being underpowered, we would like to point out that the vehicle category was selected by you when making the reservation. The booking car group does not guarantee a specific model or engine configuration. Furthermore, GPS navigation is not listed as a guaranteed feature of the rented vehicle category. For your information, the 2025 Hyundai i20 you rented does, in fact, include GPS navigation through the vehicle's built-in display. Regardless of the above, we are sorry to hear that your overall experience did not meet your expectations. Crete **DO NOT USE** **DO NOT USE** We will never use this company again. There is one man working from a hut, dropping off off and picking up customers. My family had to wait in the airport because they will only take the driver to the location 10mins away. On arriving at the hut, to be informed that that the car size and transmission type was not available. So two hours later after arriving in Crete, we had to pay the last minute price in the airport. AVOiD USING!! The response to this review is poor. I ordered an automatic SUV at higher rate than other cars. and to have a manual car as the only option. So what this company is saying is that it is a lucky dip as to what you get on arrival.

Il servizio non è intelligente, è furbo!

Il servizio non è intelligente, è furbo! Prenoti una Kia Stonic o similare, mi rifilano una ssangyong tivoli. Il bello è che tutto il parco auto era Ssangyong e basta. Inoltre ti dicono all'aeroporto, invece hanno il deposito dislocato in mezzo al nulla e una persona che va avanti e indietro. Quando usi il navigatore per riconsegnare ti perdi nelle lande desertiche e rischi di perdere l'aereo. Aggiungo che il sediolino per il neonato era lurido, pur avendo scelto il migliore in quel momento!

Therefore, our partners provided you with a vehicle from the same category and of a similar size to the Kia Stonic, as specified in your booking. Regarding your comment about the vehicle collection at the airport, we would simply like to clarify that, as clearly stated in the instructions on your voucher, the meeting point is at the airport. From there, our customers are provided with a free shuttle bus transfer to our rental station, where the vehicle collection takes place. The same procedure applies upon returning the vehicle, with a free shuttle transfer back to the airport. Regarding the GPS and your comment about having difficulty locating the station, for your next visit we would recommend contacting our local partner directly if you experience any difficulty finding the station.
