Scam alert!! Honestly, i had the most uncomfortable appointment of my life . I got a call saying someone had referred me and that I could come in for a 7-step diamond facial, face analysis and consultation as a welcome offer. I booked an appointment for the same evening. I was promised around 1 hour 15 minutes of facial + a foot massage. They started with the usual questions about allergies and medical conditions, but then the questions became quite personal — whether I was married, whether I had a husband/Bf, etc. Later, I understood why they were asking… apparently they were trying to figure out whether someone else could potentially pay for the treatments. 😐 Then came the face analysis machine. Suddenly, I had all kinds of “issues,” including pigmentation supposedly under the skin that I couldn’t even see myself. The next thing I knew, they had calculated 22 procedures costing around AED 44,000. I had mentioned earlier that i am a homemaker, The consultant, Rasha, commented how husbands dont let their wives spend money and rather would spent on their girlfriends and then immediately asked how much I would be willing to spend every month at their clinic. 🤦🏻♀️ What I found especially disturbing was that Rasha also started sharing very personal information about another client to convince me to take the treatment. I found that extremely unprofessional and honestly quite inhumane. If you can casually share someone else’s private story with me, how am I supposed to trust that my own information will remain private? After that, the owner/manager came in and the pressure really started. I was repeatedly pushed to take a “special offer” that day, without leaving the clinic to think about it. I tried to remain polite and just wanted to leave peacefully. The sales pressure went on for at least 30 minutes. And the funniest part? The actual facial itself lasted maybe 15 minutes. So much for the promised 1 hour 15 minutes. 🌝 There were lots of big promises, emotional pressure and “today only” offers. Thankfully, I managed to leave without buying anything. I honestly feel like I lost almost 2 hours of my life, but I guess it’s a lesson learned. Please Google the clinic and read reviews before accepting these “free facial/welcome offer” calls. A free facial can very quickly turn into a very expensive sales pitch. Be careful, guys. 😅
