Amazing Trip but some bad hotels
I had the best time on this trip! Bex was an amazing tour manager, and I loved her! Although I am rating this a 5 out 5, there were some issues that did happen on this trip. I was very disappointed that the Intercity Hotel in Berlin did not have air conditioning, especially since temperatures were over 100°F. Before the tour even started, I stayed at another Intercity Hotel near a different train station, and it was significantly nicer. I also think Contiki should have provided a coach to Prague instead of a seven hour combination of trains and buses. I understand it's a train tour, but if Contiki knew about the rail disruptions in advance, bussing us would have saved valuable time in Prague. I loved my roommate, but I think a short questionnaire about things like sleep habits, early mornings, and nightlife would make the roommate matching process even better. The Vienna hotel was unacceptable. The floors were sticky, there was no air conditioning, the hotel smelled, there were bugs in the breakfast, and even drug bottles on the balconies. Many travelers booked other hotels because of the conditions, and I ended up paying for my own breakfast. Overall, I expected a fast paced itinerary, but an extra day in each city would have greatly improved the experience. Bex was an incredible tour guide, and I would absolutely travel with her again. My only major concerns were the accommodations and the amount of time spent in each destination, which I have done with Contiki in the past and knew that going in! All the free time add-ons were great!

Truly couldn’t have asked for a better…
Truly couldn’t have asked for a better trip or better group of people to do it with. You only get out of the trip what you put into it. You won’t reject it. Easily the best trip of my life!

Whistle stop tour
I went on a three week bus tour around Europe which seemed like a good way to see a fair few countries. Was very fast paced and a lot of long journeys.
