Shame on you!
Have ordered from this company before and service was good, but why on earth would you continue to take customers money for orders and pre orders when you knew damn well that you were going into liquidation. You would not accept pre order payments via PayPal, but took them anyway knowing you would be unable to fulfil the order and took the money any way. Seeing your debts were almost 1 million pounds this wouldn't have been a surprise that you were in trouble. My teenage daughter is now out of pocket and will have to wait to see if there is any money left after the other creditors have taken their cut out of the sale. Shame on you for continuing to take money from customers, especially as everyone is struggling!!!

Company stole my money and…
absolutely disgusting. Company has gone into liquidation and didn’t notify customer until the 06/03/24?? They took my money knowing they would go bankrupt and never told me. Now I’m £200 out of pocket and may never get refunded. Was sent the information on how many £ they were in debt by and absolutely appalling is a severe understatement. Now I have to hire a solicitor with no guarantee I’ll even get my money back 😡 Anyone who ordered from them NEEDS to file claims with banks and the liquidation company IMMEDIATELY!!!!

Company is going into Liquidation, informed me using the correct procedures and I have received my refund due to their advice
Firstly, I know the business has now ceased to trade, however I realised I hadn't written a review for them before. I've bought a few things from Dekai Anime over the last year and have always received a good service. Of course, now the company is going into Liquidation. I received an email on 23rd Feb 2024 informing me of this with clear next steps. I also visited the website and they suggest if you've made an order via PayPal over the last 180 days, you should open a dispute with them. I did this today and received my refund immediately from PayPal. I appreciate that others here have found this out as a shock, and are rather unhappy, and that's absolutely understandable. However, I received a historically good service and I believe the company (through their advisors) informed me of this liquidation in accordance with the correct laws and procedure. Because they put me on notice, I have been able to receive my refund. I hope others who have spent a lot of money can get their money back. I suggest you follow the procedures. It's a shame to see Dekai Anime go under. They were a brilliant site and I received an excellent service. These things unfortunately happen I guess.

Terrible way to treat people
(Edited) If anyone is reading this please check your emails as I've just received one from the business who is doing the liquidation, theres a chance you could get your money back by making a claim against them by providing evidence of your orders.!!! Business failed and they didnt bother informing me or refunding my money. I found out that they had gone out of business second hand from a Facebook post of all places. And it was pure luck that I spotted the post informing me of dekai animes denise. As had it been a week later I would of been unable to get a refund from my bank. I was this time fortunate, but I think its disgusting how a big business such as this has taken a large amount of money right up until they upped and left without so much as a word to say they were closing down. Which means in some cases many people are out thousands of pounds.
