Assolutamente pessima esperienza

Assolutamente pessima esperienza. 5 mesi per ricevere un ordine che non è mai andato in produzione e senza ricevere mai notizie sulle tempistiche di spedizione. Ho avviato il rimborso e anche li non non mi sanno dire quando verrà rimborsato, scrivono che è in priorità assoluta ma in realtà dopo settimane dalla richiesta ancora nessuna info esatta. Assolutamente esperienza negativa che spero non capiti ad altri.

★☆☆☆☆ I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Designer Editions has been deeply disappointing. In November 2025, I ordered a Panthella Style Floor Lamp Chrome – Orange (€377.64 including shipping). The order confirmation explicitly identified the Orange version and even displayed an orange product image. After several months of waiting, I received a lamp fitted with a white/cream lampshade rather than an orange one. Mistakes can happen, and my initial reaction was simply to contact customer service and request a replacement lampshade. I was not seeking compensation, damages or anything unreasonable. I merely wanted the product I had ordered. What followed was the most disappointing part of the experience. I provided photographs of the lamp received together with my order confirmation. Rather than addressing the obvious discrepancy between an order for an orange lamp and a lamp fitted with a white/cream lampshade, Designer Editions focused exclusively on the fact that I had discarded the original packaging. Their final position was that, because the packaging was no longer available, they could not investigate the matter further. What I find particularly troubling is that they repeatedly suggested that the photographs provided could not be accepted as evidence because they could not prove that the lamp shown was the one they had delivered. Objectively speaking, there was no serious reason to doubt the authenticity of the photographs. The pictures showed the lamp received in my home, immediately after delivery and assembly. I had provided the order documentation, reported the issue promptly and had no conceivable interest in fabricating such a claim. Yet the substance of the complaint was never meaningfully addressed. Throughout the entire exchange, Designer Editions never explained how a white/cream lampshade could correspond to an order for the Orange version. Instead, the discussion remained focused on procedural arguments and the absence of the original box. A delivery error can happen. What matters is how a company handles it. In my case, after months of waiting, I was left with a product that did not match my order and a customer service department that appeared more concerned with closing the file than examining the facts. Potential customers should be aware that if anything appears unusual with an order, Designer Editions expects the complete original packaging to be retained. Otherwise, even where photographs and order records exist, the company may refuse to investigate the matter further. This review reflects my personal experience and is fully supported by the order confirmation, photographs of the product received and the correspondence exchanged with customer service.

It is essential for every customer to thoroughly inspect their products upon delivery to ensure there has been no damage during transit and that the orders comply with the purchase (for this, pictures are required). We kindly requested your cooperation in this matter before the order was shipped and reminded you of this after it was delivered, to avoid any future inconvenience. Please note, this is also included in the Terms and Conditions available for everyone on the webpage even before a purchase is made. You only provided one picture of a lamp, already assembled and being used, you also disposed of the packaging fully aware that this was necessary and required for any investigation or return. Additionally, if the product received did not match the purchase as you claim, for the inspection, it wasn't necessary to dispose of the packaging, assemble the lamp and use it. We clarified as well that in accordance with our records, the item shipped and delivered is the correct product. We also explained that for the supplier to accept the claim, the required evidence must be provided which includes pictures of the box and labels on it, as they contain important and relevant information about the supplier, product, container and batch as well as an ID number for the item, which serves as evidence to identify it. Kindly keep in mind that as our team clarified through email, if you had proceeded as it was requested, we would have been able to proceed with the next step and the only reason why we cannot do so, is due to external actions we cannot accept responsibility for. A standard practice in most stores (if not all) is to keep the item as received, including the original packaging (these terms were accepted upon purchase), especially if you are not satisfied with it or need to return it. Given your previous message and this review, it appears that the necessary documentation will not be provided. Very good products

Order DE2-1165. I'm very satisfied about my purchase, I've ordered two Nelson Bubble and one Atollo style table lamp. Here all the good points: the three parcels arrived before the estimated time with a very appropriated packaging; the courier contacted me before arriving to be sure I was there to collect; products are well made. I found few little scratches on the metal ring top side of a bubble lamp but nothing visible. Overall very happy of the experience.
