Deeply regret ordering from Designer…
Deeply regret ordering from Designer Optics — buyer beware I deeply regret purchasing prescription glasses from Designer Optics and would strongly caution others before ordering from this company. Designer Optics does not offer a virtual try-, so when ordering online, I had to rely on the frame measurements provided on their website. I did exactly that. When my glasses arrived, they were far too large for me and did not fit as I expected based on those measurements. I cannot wear them. I contacted Designer Optics hoping to simply EXCHANGE the frames for a pair that actually fit. They refused because the glasses contained prescription lenses. I am now stuck with approximately $400 prescription glasses that I cannot wear. I understand that prescription lenses are custom, but that is part of doing business as an online prescription eyewear retailer. If you sell glasses online without providing customers a virtual try-on option, there should be a reasonable solution when the frames don't fit. Other optical retailers offer much more customer-friendly guarantees and exchange policies for prescription eyewear. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of interest in finding a reasonable solution. Their policy places essentially all of the risk on the customer. Once the prescription lenses are made, you can be left paying hundreds of dollars for glasses that don't fit and are unusable. Had I understood how little protection I would have if the frames didn't fit, I NEVER would have ordered from Designer Optics. Buyer beware: If you're considering purchasing prescription glasses here, understand that if the frames don't fit when they arrive, you may be stuck with an expensive pair of glasses you cannot wear. I wish I had taken my $400 elsewhere. I will never purchase from Designer Optics again and cannot recommend them.

Poor quality glasses due to Unhelpful ordering process
Received my Designer Optics order of two pairs of prescription glasses in an unusable state, with poor lenses, and on enquiry with Designer Optics, was advised this was because I had not ordered anti-reflective coating. Designer Optics said to remedy this they'd need to re-do the lenses, but I'd have to pay for the new lenses(original cost for lenses only was about $500)!Had Designer Optics's ordering process warned or prompted me that glasses are unusable without anti-reflective coating, I'd have ordered it. This is such an unhelpful and uncaring ordering process where Designer Optics made money while I'm dissatisfied as hell! I will never ever buy glasses again from them.
