I am writing this review to share my experience following a Robotic DHI hair transplant I received at Dr. Terziler Exclusive Clinic approximately one year two months ago. As an African-American male, I trusted this clinic to provide expert guidance on what would be necessary to achieve adequate density in both my frontal and crown area. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. Prior to my arrival, I was advised that approximately 2,217 grafts would be sufficient. Relying on their expertise, I agreed to this plan. However, it has become clear over time that this number of grafts was not nearly enough to achieve the density and coverage I was seeking—particularly for my frontal and crown area. The results have been disappointing, and I do not feel that the outcome reflects what was promised at all. Communication was also a significant issue throughout the process. There were language barriers that made it difficult to clearly express my concerns or fully understand the procedure. Additionally, I interacted with multiple different individuals at each stage before and after, which created inconsistency and confusion for me. I was initially told I would meet directly with Dr. Terziler upon arrival, but this did not happen without me having to strongly ask for it once I arrived. This lack of follow-through, lack of intentionality contributed to a sense that the experience was not as personalized or professional as presented beforehand. Overall, I left feeling more like a transaction than a valued patient. I do not believe my specific hair type or needs were adequately considered, which is especially important for African-American clients. Given the financial investment of over $5,000 and the emotional impact of the results, this experience has been both financially and personally distressing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic—particularly for American clients or individuals with textured hair who require a more specialized approach. I strongly encourage others to thoroughly research providers who demonstrate clear expertise with diverse hair types and who prioritize transparent communication and realistic treatment planning. My hope in sharing this is that it encourages greater accountability and helps others make more informed decisions.

First transplant at age 42
After extensive research I chose Dr. Terziler for a 5,000 graft no-shave FUE procedure in late March 2026, flying in from Toronto. I came in with high expectations and left genuinely impressed. The procedure itself was thorough and professional. The no-shave technique was recommended based on my hair characteristics and was exactly right for my situation — I was able to leave the clinic looking essentially like myself, which matters when you’re traveling internationally and returning to a normal routine quickly. The only uncomfortable moments were some of the later lidocaine injections as the procedure progressed, but that’s the nature of the technique, not a reflection of the team. The clinic and staff were first class throughout. The facility is modern, clean, and well organized. The international patient coordination was seamless — transfers, scheduling, and communication were all handled without me having to chase anything. The doctor reviewed the work personally and was clearly satisfied with the outcome, which as the patient is exactly the reassurance you want on day one post-procedure. The aftercare package is detailed and thoughtful — a day-by-day protocol covering medications, spray routine, sleeping position, and photo follow-up via WhatsApp. For someone flying home 36 hours post-procedure, having that level of structured guidance matters enormously. Bottom line: if you’re considering Istanbul for a hair transplant and want a premium, physician-led experience with serious technical credentials behind it, Dr. Terziler delivers. The 35+ years of experience shows in the details. I’d recommend without hesitation.
