A bizarre website. Misleading sizes. Intentionally mislabelling coat styles.
A bizarre website. Misleading sizes. A bizarre website. The website, for years, it seems, has had incorrect sizes shown - a complaint from many people. When I asked support what size I should get based on my chest size, they didn't know the numbers for their garments. This to me sounds like support was outsourced to a cheap overseas company, however I could be wrong. While I appreciate that each item of clothing will have variations, there should be a rough idea to garment sizes and any wild fluctuations in my opinion would be an indicator of poor workmanship. Original Montgomery support said to me to measure an existing coat as opposed to going off of the measurements on the website, when I referenced the model's height being 5ft 11" and me not being far off that. This is nonsensical. How am I supposed to know what the OM coat would be like until purchasing? They also said: "the pictures on the website could be wrong as they might be a few years old". Yes, they said that. I, stupidly went from the website measurements. The medium size coat I ordered was a 38 inch chest... way off the website's numbers (that haven't been updated in forever). I sent it back at my own cost (just over £6) but support was good and immediately issued a refund when a large wasn't available for exchange (no return cost refund though) - it took about a week for them to process the return. I missed out on the sale because of the daft, misleading sizing and delays to processing, but support was as helpful as they could be. I ordered a used OM coat from Ebay and sadly that coat has half-length arms/sleeves. I give up with Original Montgomery. Their website is terrible. Their website is also poorly designed (especially for desktop). Their sizing is all wrong. It just seems impossible to buy a coat from these guys... and I'm now never going to consider buying one of their coats at full cost because they can't be trusted. Another thing I've noticed and this is terrible behaviour from the Montgomery Outlet... they're now throwing Tailored Fit clothing under the "Classic" label if you use the filters in the left side (not the drop-down from the main upper menu). Deliberately misleading on multiple counts.

non mi avete mai risposto alle email, mi avete semplicemente reinviato la stessa email di ordine ricevuto due volte nel giro di due settimane, zero informazioni o rassicurazioni a un cliente che vi ha dato 200 euro ed avete completamente abbandonato due secondi dopo

Very pleased to be able to write a review recognising excellent customer service, top quality coats, speedy delivery and good prices. I’ve seen other reviews on here and shared none of others’ troubles. I was nervous about trusting a website that looked like someone else’s but with the prices all cut by 50%. I was spooked when the Pay Pal link took me to Shop Pay instead and after initially cancelling my order I returned. In the meantime I did as they suggest and measured a coat of mine which I like the fit of: great idea. Having searched around for reviews, I thought it worth trying again and am delighted to say it all worked out. I’ve been done over in the past and am wary of ‘if it looks too good to be true’ offers. But Duffle Coats UK came up trumps and I now have a great looking duffle and a great looking Pea Coat. My tip would be to measure a coat that you like wearing and go from there. A happy customer 👍👍

Har i januar returneret jakke for bytning, har ikke modtaget nogen som helst bekræftelse fra jer pr mail. I svarer heller ikke på de mange mail jeg har sendt. Tvivler efterhånden på jeg får ny størrelse tilsendt. Skal det være god service, ja spørger bare. Handel ikke med dem

The dufflecoat is great quality
The dufflecoat is great quality at a very good price. I ordered up a size (women's) to allow for layering in winter months and found this to be perfect especially as it has a zip as well as toggles. Customer service are difficult to get hold of but did eventually help regarding my first order which I had to return - quick refund after parcel received. Thank you.
