Thought I’d give eBay one more chance
Thought I’d give eBay one more chance. Contacted customer service and asked if they’d hold on to my funds like they’ve started doing. I was point blank told, no once delivery is confirmed and feedback left money would be received. Complete lie soon as they received the item and confirmed they were happy, 30 calendar days before money is released. Oh been using eBay for 10+ without any issues. All I can say is avoid if selling

I purchased a special animation lead…
I purchased a special animation lead from a seller in the US, from Ebay. Yet again Evri delivered it somewhere completely different and no idea where it was only a photo of lots of parcels in a building entrance and GPS location that showed it was not my building. I contacted Evri regarding it, but that are total crap and don't care. So I contacted Ebay and they reviewed my case and did not find in favour of me, so I appealed it and they could see by the evidence I sent it was not delivered to me, they did not change their decision. This lead cost me over £60 and their buyer protection is total crap and so are the staff that reviews the case as they did not take into account that my address and where the GPS showed was completely different. So I am going to escalate this aand contact their head office and send a detailed letter and proof, as they do not allow you to do this via email! I think they do this to discourage people complaining. I have been a buyer on Ebay for over 20 years, but recently the choice of couriers and shipping methods have changed and they seem to mostly use Evri, which I now refuse to use. This item was posted using DHL, but once arrived in the UK, passed onto Evri. They are the worse courier/delivery company going and really need to be exposed for the terrible service they provide.

Somebody used ebay to steal my money …
Somebody used ebay to steal my money on a purchase of £385,told ebay to close my account,they say it takes a fortnight . Do not try to contact me again,gave my ebay ID as my answer i will not give any phone numbers to you. Ps my card is now destroyed. So go away.

Really awful service when something…
Really awful service when something goes wrong. Ordered dac, came damaged in transit, won't refund me and closed my case. Tried messaging, calls all useless, going for chargeback with bank. Ebay money back guarantee not worth anything, been a customer for 20 years, I'll be dialling down my ebay use, not staying with a company who try to dodge UK consumer law, going more with amazon who have faultless customer service.

eBay not open to complaints
Having bought 2 memory cards that didn’t work, I put the following post into eBay. "I bought 2 SD memory cards that were advertised as Class 10 and looked like they were from a good make - SanDisk. The cards supplied were not Class 10 and were not SanDisk but Sandian blatantly imitating SanDisk. When I tried to return items, Boxshop return process required a jpg, jpeg, bmp etc attachment but Boxshop system rejected all the stated acceptable formats, making it impossible to progress the return process. Stay away from this vendor." Ebay rejected my feedback stating it was threatening and offensive and threatened to ban me from eBay. Making you own mind up whether stating the facts in the manner I did is using threatening or offensive words In fairness, whilst I was unable to obtain a refund from Boxshop, ebay honoured their guarantee and have promised to arranged a refund
