Terrible, avoid at all costs, ordered my glasses over a month ago, they blame their supplier, no updates just AI generic responses. If I could give them 0 I would.

Would give no stars, but this site does not allow it. Ordered Tom Ford glasses from Edel Optics, delivery very poor, but then that could be laid blame to their delivery company, however, glasses arrived damaged, buckled. I sent an image with description / complaint, and was told to return them. I was then told glasses had been rectified and would be returned, They arrived today...in the same damaged state, so no one had actually repaired the frames at all, I still await a response to my follow up email.....Bad Service.

Really disappointed with my experience with Edel-Optics. I ordered my sunglasses on 11th August through their .co.uk website. I was originally told they would arrive on the 14th August, then this was rescheduled to the 17th, and they still haven’t arrived. Even worse, UPS doesn’t even appear to have received the parcel yet. What I find misleading is that it was not made clear enough when ordering that the product would actually be shipping from Germany. Had I known this, I would never have ordered from Edel-Optics. I could have spent around £10 more with an actual UK-based company and would have happily done so. When a company gives you a delivery date, especially when that date influences your decision to purchase, you expect them to honour it or at least provide accurate information about where the parcel is. I needed these sunglasses within the timeframe Edel-Optics gave me, which is why this is particularly frustrating. My mistake was not reading the reviews before ordering, because looking through them now, delayed deliveries and similar complaints appear to be a recurring issue. A .co.uk website combined with delivery estimates like these gave me a completely different impression of how my order would be fulfilled. Still no sunglasses, still no parcel with UPS, and two delivery dates later. Very disappointing experience.

Ordered a Polo Ralph Lauren PH2212 (colour 5303) on 25 July 2026 and paid £61.56 in full by card. Order E-GB26-5040586. The order confirmation that arrived the same day contained no delivery date and no information about availability — just a line saying I'd soon be holding my new glasses. Two days later, on 27 July, an email gave a delivery date of 14 August. That was the first date I'd been given for anything. On 9 August, a further email apologised for failing to deliver "as intended on 8 August" — a date that had never been communicated to me — blamed their supplier, and offered no revised date at all, only an assurance they'd be in touch at some point. I wrote asking them either to dispatch the item or refund. They cancelled the order outright, before 14 August had even arrived. So after nearly three weeks I had no glasses, and the same frame in the same colourway costs around £74 elsewhere against the £61.56 I'd paid them. I asked them to cover the difference and the expedited postage — roughly £18, arising entirely from their failure to supply. The first response came from an automated chatbot at 1am, which engaged with none of it. A human then refused outright, giving no reasons beyond the fact that the original price had been refunded. For completeness, since I've seen this raised in replies to other reviews: every exchange in my case was in writing. I asked for written responses, I received written responses, and the final refusal was in writing too. There was no failure to reach me. To be fair to them, the refund itself was prompt and complete. But a refund is not compensation. It is the return of money taken for goods that never arrived, and it leaves me three weeks behind and out of pocket on the replacement. What I'd want another buyer to know is less about the delay than the handling of it. Two delivery dates, neither honoured, one of which I only learned about when they apologised for missing it. No firm commitment at any point. Cancellation rather than any attempt to source the item. And a flat refusal, unexplained, to stand behind the customer when their own supply chain failed. If you're in no hurry, you may be fine here. If you need frames by a particular date, I'd buy elsewhere. I'll update this review if their position changes. Update: I was contacted by Edel and they offered me a different frame at a discounted rate (unprompted), which I accepted. It was evident that they clearly wanted to resolve the issue. Despite this, there was confusion with the shipping speed and issue with delivery, but overall their efforts to reach out and find a resolution is commendable. I have upgraded the review to three stars as a result.
