Beware of purchases from MacSales
Beware of purchases from MacSales. I initiated a purchase on Friday Feb 13, 2026. Within an hour I attempted to cancel the purchase as I found an alternative product for 1/2 cost. The website has no cancelation process and chat or phone are not available after office hours. I sent a request for cancellation email to "orders-macsales.com" the email bounced as undeliverable (Red Flag!!!) I immediately filed a dispute with my credit card. 30 minutes later, I received a shipping confirmation from MacSales (amazing since the office is closed). I sent an email to "Support-OWC.com" requesting cancellation of the order. I received an office closed reply. I called on Monday Morning Feb 17, 2026 and requested cancellation of the order. The phone support replied that cancellation was not possible since the order already shipped. This is amazing since the order was scheduled to arrive Feb 20. I requested a merchant refund and return shipping label. Phone support gave me the run around and lip service that they couldn't help. Feb 17th, I received email from support-OWC.com apologizing that the order cancellation wasn't possible since the order shipped on Feb 13 while the office was closed. The email then requested that I provide information on my computer system including model and iOS version. Very strange that they want this information. I replied with request for pre-paid return shipping label. This will be resolved either by merchant credit or by credit dispute. Don't trust a site that doesn't permit customer cancellation options.

ordered 4 COAL powerbanks that were on…
ordered 4 COAL powerbanks that were on sale; I have one that works great; all 4 failed to charge and website link for customer service broken; calling them resulted in nearly an hour hold time, then more hold time while they decided to send 4 addiitonal units, and these are also defective. They need to stop selling this junk! Still out my $$$ also.

Never received my computer or $3,000 Refund.
This has been one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered this computer last week Tuesday. I was supposed to receive it last week Friday. I got the UPS notification that I would arrive last week Saturday. UPS said it would arrive between 1:30pm and 4:30pm and a signature would be required. When I tried to get them to remove the signature requirement just in case I missed the delivery it wouldn’t let me. I tried to get them to do a pick up from a UPS store and they said I would have to contact OWC and have them approve that. OWC told me they couldn’t it was up to UPS. Days of a back and forth and still nothing. And now there is a delay with receiving my refund. I paid over $3,000 for a product from OWC not to never receive it and now delays with my money getting returned. Further more this has gravely impacted a project that I needed the computer for. Had I know this I would have just spent the $3,000 in a local Apple Store. NEVER again will I EVER use OWC or recommend them to anyone. Worst customer service EVER. That also goes for UPS as well.
