Positive F1 Authentics experience.
My experience with F1 Authentics has been very positive. I have 2 of their Checkered flag products, a framed version and their acrylic version. Their customer service has been very responsive at all phases of the process. They let me know in detail when the merchandise would be dispatched after the race and DHL provided highly detailed tracking info. When questioned, the always responded within 24 hours. Having a double-sided flag can cause seen or unseen photography issues, but the finished product is displayed with excellent craftsmanship and is a treasure to proudly display! They have an incredible amount of race used and team items. I look forward to adding more of their authentic inventory to my personal collection!

Avoid this fraudulent company at all…
Avoid this fraudulent company at all costs. Having bid on multiple items on a recent auction, the auction ended before it was due to, supposedly due to a technical issue. After a couple of days, I was called by an employee from F1 Authentics/Memento and offered certain items from the auction at drastically inflated prices. It was agreed that I could purchase some of the items at the highest bid at the time the auction ended however 2 of the items never arrived and after contacting F1 authentics, I was told that there was a mix up and these items had now been sold to someone else. One of the items arrived and was nothing like the item that I paid for. All in all, they have been an absolute pain to deal with and in my opinion, are committing fraudulent auction practices. How an earth they have gained a licence with F1 is absolutely beyond me.

Own a piece of the the Checkered Flag - disappointing experience
I think the overall concept is brilliant and I really liked the idea behind the experience, but unfortunately I have been left really disappointed with both the final product and the customer service. One of the main reasons for purchasing this was the opportunity to see the flag being used at the Grand Prix and then receive the section containing our personalised square. However, the final photograph provided does not actually show the side of the flag where our square is located. I have since been told that there is no guarantee that the supplied photography will show your individual section of the flag. For the amount F1 Authentics charges for this experience, I really do not think that is good enough. I imagine most customers purchasing something like this would want to see photographic evidence of their square actually being on the flag, particularly when this is such a significant part of what makes the item special and authentic. I have spent a lot of time trying to find footage and photographs myself because I genuinely wanted to be proven wrong and be able to clearly see that our square was there. Unfortunately, I still have not been able to find a clear image of the relevant side of the flag. I have also tried repeatedly to get further clarification from the customer service team, but I do not feel I am getting anywhere. Considering the cost of the experience and the reputation associated with Formula 1, I expected a much higher standard of quality, transparency and customer service. At this point, I genuinely do not feel confident that what I ordered was definitely on the flag used at the Grand Prix. I was hoping F1 Authentics would be able to provide the evidence to reassure me, but so far they have been unable to do so. It is such a shame because the idea itself is fantastic, but for an experience at this price point, customers should not be left questioning whether their personalised section was actually there.
