Fourth Frontier-Great idea, not there yet
I have been an on and off user for a little over a year. I have wondered if I have a unit that is malfunctioning, so consider that as you read my review. My strap seems to have a hard time connecting with my training computer on my bike and by windows machine hooked to my wahoo smart trainer bike. This is the smaller of my issues as bluetooth can be glitchy with anything. My second issue is that it has a hard time getting my ECG data and when it does, a lot of it is not readable according to Fourth Frontier. In fact, last December they contacted me to let me know there was an issue. They suggested ways to make improvements with the contacts, but it still seems to have the problem. I really love the idea of this heart rate monitor, but right now it is too expensive for too many frustrations. I hope they do get this right, but I won't be buying the new upgraded one. As can be seen Fourth Frontier did indeed contact me. I am unsure of what they did, but once I gave them permission to access my data, all of my data was readable. This was data spread over several months. They feel like it was a glitch in my device, that somehow reset. I obviously feel that it was something in the way the data was processed. Either way, the device is working and I am pleased! I do wish we could have fixed it the first two times that I contacted them, but it does have a happy ending. Kudos to them for their persistence.

Exceptional Customer Support and Service I want to express my sincere appreciation for the team at Fourth Frontier. When my original X2 heart monitoring device stopped working properly, it was already out of warranty. Despite that, their customer support team went above and beyond the call of duty to help me resolve the issue. They worked directly with me to troubleshoot the problem, allowed me to test a replacement device to ensure it worked better for my needs, and ultimately provided a refurbished device. Their willingness to support their customers—even past the warranty period—is rare. They made every effort possible to make things right, and the new device is working great. Thank you to the Fourth Frontier team for their outstanding service and dedication! I highly recommend them if you need more than a standard heart monitor for exercise.
