Had a great time
Booking process was extremely easy, and communication with the support was prompt and resolved any problems I had. The available selection of tours was nice. Although I wasn't able to choose the specific time, the time chosen was almost always perfect (e.g. earlier in the day with fewer crowds). All the hotels I stayed at were also far better than I expected, and there were no problems at all with any of the check-in processes. I did not really use the full itinerary the GTI provided (with all the sight-seeing recommendations) as I wanted to explore on my own, but the recommendations they had were really comprehensive .

The moment you are planning with them…
The moment you are planning with them is a starting of nightmare! Since we booked a trip with them. which was 2 month ahead of our trip, I sent emails more than 20 times and called more than 20 times to correct their mistakes! Most of problems are agent' negligencies on details. Each time either emails or calls, we were dealing with different travel agents. Only one agent(her name is Roma) was carefully listening to us and tried to solve the problems. They asked us to send same freight itinerary 3 times, numerous mistskes on pick up times. They got wrong bed arragements, when i asked correction, they asked more money to correct the problems, which was not my faults! We got a lot of distractions during trip to correct their mistaks, spent a lot of energies. Basicall they are 3rd. parties and you are communicating so many different sgents. who are not consistsnt, which is not efficent! We hsd a big disappointments and are regretting our decision and will never do it again!

A great experience, made easy with a well organized package.
Driving around Iceland was a great experience and Guide to Iceland really made developing an itinerary, finding places to stay and booking tours very seamless and easy. There was a lot of information about places to see and things to do every day, far more than we could have done, so it was easy to tailor to the interests of our family. We would absolutely use this service again and recommend it to others. There were a few small glitches that mean you should look through your materials carefully - at one point a typo indicated a glacier hike we hadn't booked, but I spotted it reading through the itinerary and clarified in advance. In another case though, we had selected a hotel with breakfast included, and the printed, PDF itinerary did include breakfast, but the mobile app itinerary did not, and the hotel had no record of a breakfast included - so we had to pay for breakfast. Better management of these sorts of details would have improved the experience for us. We didn't end up using the VIP discount that comes with it, there wasn't a huge selection of restaurants outside Reykjavik, and it wasn't straightforward to plan around when our itinerary was already so full. Overall, it was a great experience, and Iceland was beautiful, welcoming and easy to navigate. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously.

Booking process and authenticity of website is excellent . However please double check location of accommodation as distances given in itinerary is not always accurate. Good follow up from company. Good support

Everything was great
Everything was great, easy booking, customer service support, accomodation quality and car rental service. My recommendation is to choose a longer road trip around the island, so many beautiful places to visit...
