I still don't have my deposit
I still don't have my deposit. I stayed at Habyt in Berlin for 6 months, and in my contract it states that I will receive my deposit within 8 weeks after I move out. It has now been nearly 13 weeks, and I still don't have my deposit. I've tried submitting multiple tickets on their website (the only way I can get in contact with them) and I've also sent emails, but I don't get any response. On top of that, while I was staying there, I had no wi-fi, and the laundry room was always dirty and smelled bad. Many of the items in the kitchen were missing or broken, such as glasses, and the vacuum cleaner, pots, and pans were old and worn out. I would not recommend staying at Habyt in Berlin.

I actually had a good experience with Habyt in Germany. I rarely had an issue with my apartment and they always got back to me very quick- that’s the reason why it’s 2 stars not 1. What’s massively changed my rating is after moving out. I’ve still not received my deposit after 12 weeks. It’s awfully convenient that now I’ve moved out the communication is terrible. I waited the whole 8 weeks before sending an email to them and I’ve not heard one word from them. I do think they know what they are doing and from other reviews that suggest it even more. If Habyt were to see this I’d really like my deposit back soon.

IIch hatte bereits im Juni 2026 zu den Machenschaften von Habyt oder Germany Living 3 oder wie immer sie sich gerade nennen etwas geschrieben. Inzwischen habe ich ein Versäumisurteil unter dem Aktenzeichen 33052 C 298/26 gegen die Germany LIving 3, vertreten durch die GF Ingo Forbinger und Leonard Landwehr, Kronenstrasse 63 in 10117 Berlin beim Amtsgericht Frankfurt erwirkt. Kontopfändungen sind bereits in vollem Gange. Sollte das hier irgendein Mitarbeiter, der in meinen Augen kriminellen Firma lesen oder gar die GF der Germany Living. Ich werde keine Ruhe geben und Sie können sich bereits jetzt auf einen Strafantrag wegen Untreue und Unterschlagung einstellen, sollten die Kautionen nicht ausgekehrt werden. Das kommt so sicher wie das Amen in der Kirche. Sie haben sich hier den falschen ausgesucht. Mit der Ihnen gebührenden Verachtung. P.S. Lassen sie bloß die Finger von dieser Firma!!!!

Rented from them (formerly homefully) for nearly five years and always paid the all-inclusive rent on time. My contract states clearly that the "GEZ (radio fee)" is included in it. Six months after moving out, the Beitragsservice sent me a demand for almost €1,000 in unpaid contributions covering the period I lived there. I emailed the company with the contract clause attached and asked them to resolve it. I never received a reply of any kind. An all-inclusive contract only means something if the company actually handles what it promises — and if anyone responds when it doesn't. Keep your contract and verify these things yourself.
