Wish I’d read the reviews first. Computer says no! I initially bought one shirt from Hawes & Curtis to try the brand and check the quality. The quality seemed good, although the 16.5-inch collar was slightly too large for me. Rather than return it, as I could still wear it, I decided to take advantage of an email offering an additional 10% off the sale prices and order another shirt with a 16-inch collar. I attempted to place the order four times on the final day of the promotion, but every time the checkout failed to progress beyond the Apple Pay stage. I contacted customer services the following day, explained exactly what had happened and asked whether they would honour the promotional price. Their response was simply that the promotion had ended and discounts could not be applied retrospectively. They also pointed out that nobody else had reported the same problem, as though that somehow meant it could not have happened to me. I was trying to buy during the promotional period and only missed the price because their checkout would not complete my order. Providing a discount code would have been a very simple and reasonable solution for a new customer who wanted to make a second purchase. Instead, it was effectively: “Computer says no!” Having now seen Hawes & Curtis has an overall rating of just 2.2 stars, I wish I had read the reviews first. Shame on you, Touker.

ILL FITTING SHIRT
I ordered a shirt from Hawes & Curtis size 16 as my correct size is 16, unfortunately I did not try on the shirt until the day I need to wear it. Extremely Disappointed with Hawes & Curtis
I honestly never expected to have this kind of experience with Hawes & Curtis. Order #: GE13183077553GB Return Request #: RMA12154356 I purchased this shirt specifically because I was planning to wear it for my wedding on August 28th. Unfortunately, the shirt didn’t fit me. That part is completely fine — I have absolutely no problem returning it and getting another shirt. All I wanted was a shirt that fits so I can wear it on my wedding day. The problem started when I tried to make the return. Because I live in the United States, I discovered that I would have to pay for the return shipping out of my own pocket. I had already paid for the shirt. I was simply trying to return it because it didn't fit and get another one. I never expected that I would have to pay additional money just to send it back. I contacted Hawes & Curtis hoping they would offer a reasonable solution. Unfortunately, I kept receiving responses from AI instead of being connected with a real person, and I never felt like anyone was actually taking responsibility for helping me resolve my case. I have tried to resolve this peacefully and through the proper channels, but I am honestly exhausted. What makes this even more heartbreaking is that this shirt was supposed to be my wedding shirt. I am getting married on August 28th, and we are now only days away from my wedding — and I STILL don't have a solution. I am not asking for a free shirt. I am not asking for anything unreasonable. I ALREADY PAID FOR THE SHIRT. I simply want to exchange it for a shirt that fits without having to spend even more money because of a return process that was not made clear to me. After trying repeatedly to resolve this privately, I have reached the point where I feel I need to share my experience publicly so other customers can understand what happened to me. I truly hope someone from Hawes & Curtis sees this review and decides that a real human being should take responsibility for my case. Because behind this order number isn't just another customer. It's a groom who is getting married on August 28th and who just wanted a shirt to wear on one of the most important days of his life. 💔 I don't want a fight. I don't want anything for free. I just want my shirt.

The quality has gone down significantly…
The quality has gone down significantly since a few years ago. Recently purchased 4 polo shirts, all medium size,they should have been identical except the color but a few are different lengths and shape. Two of them are about three inches longer than the other. I would post a photo but does not allo it. Also this must be the only shop that doesn't accept gift cards to be used for online shopping, you have to travel to the store to use it. I will continue buying from Charles Tyrwhitt, they have never disappointed me.
