Did not realise how poorly our old…
Did not realise how poorly our old fridge freezer was operating until we purchased our new Liebherr model; one very minor criticism is that the operating instructions should have explained that when first switching on the freezer section temperature will be reduced before the refrigerator. Other than that, very pleased with product.

Poor after sales service from parts sales.
I recently purchased a Liebherr Fridge TK14VE00 and a Freezer TGN14VE04. After a couple of weeks, I noticed a slight crack in the bottom fridge door tray, so rather than trying to get a replacement under guarantee I thought it would be easier to order one through their website, as a spare, in case the crack got worse. The website states 2 weeks delivery and their acknowledgement says, allow up to 3. It has now been over 3 weeks and I have phoned to chase the order twice, both times being told they would call me back with an update, neither has. I then thought I would send an email to the refrigeration department, again, no response. Although I am pleased with both appliances their after sales service is appalling. This would certainly make me think again before purchasing anything else from Liebherr.

Fridge requires to be manually turned…
Fridge requires to be manually turned on everytime the power cuts out. I live in the countryside and have lost 3 loads of food so far. Soon the food lost will be more than this brand new fridge cost. They said they would send an engineer who originally called but has since ignored all texts. Not fit for purpose

We needed a 140 cm high non standard cabinet fridge and this company supplied it through Barkers of Tarring. Service was superb delivered within 2 weeks and it is a very smart hi tech fridge.

May be made in China
This was bought on the basis it is German and has a reputation for.build and quality. I bought the stainless steel CNSDC5203 which looks slick modern and expensive. Which it is. Hmmmm The first fridge made different noises throughout the day and wouldn't shut up. I had yo get an engineer out and it was rrplaced with a new one. The new one has rippling in the side outer casing and a few deeper dent like areas. The seals in the fridge and freezer have had corners very crudely cut. They are not the immaculate straight cuts and fits one would expect of a German premium brand. The digital display has a gap of 3mm under it. When the panel is pressed the gap vanishes. If i hadn't read up on this item and looked at it in someone's house. I would have thought it was Made in China or PRC? The rippling on the sides outside and some clear dents look like they are from manufacturing. I think they are using China to make the fridge freezers. I will have to check the manual to see if it actually is. I was a bit deflated by my findings. I had hoped this would be solid for decades. At present the seals in the fridge and freezer seem to be coming away from the doors. A white line behind them.is getting bigger. Be wary. This is not BMW or Mercedes quality 🤷🏾
