I bought an eSIM in the Uk
I bought an eSIM in the Uk. I was advised by them that I could not activate it until I landed in Croatia. When I landed it said the codes were invalid. They are now claiming that it was activated and used on the day of purchase. This is not true and is dishonest. Do not get tricked by this company.

horrible internet provider
horrible internet provider. They give you a a better plan for free for 3 months then the internet goes back to being utter sh*t. Internet never works when you need it. Shuts off randomly and needs 33 restarts to work. There is never any free agents to solve the issue and they never solve it. You always have to find a workaround yourself.

Prepaid SIM: unusable in season, and no way to fix anything remotely
I bought a Simpa prepaid SIM for a house on the island Pag and used it in a dedicated LTE router. Two separate problems, both worth knowing about before you buy. Network capacity. Signal level is consistently decent, but from roughly June through September the actual throughput is practicaly unusable. Clearly base station congestion during the tourist season, not coverage. Outside the season, the exact same SIM, the same router and the same signal level work perfectly well. So this is a capacity problem HT has known about for years and evidently has not addressed. If you are buying a SIM for a coastal location in summer, this is precisely when you need it and precisely when it does not work. Support and digital channels. My 10-day unlimited data add-on expired and I wanted to buy the cheaper 7-day option instead, since I only needed six more days. Neither the Moj Telekom app, nor the web portal, nor the SMS menu would offer anything except the 10-day package at 15 EUR. My account was topped up twice, 15 EUR in total, and the portal itself states the tariff is Simpa and that a tariff change is free after a top-up. Support insisted the number is registered in their system as an eSIM. It is not. It is a physical SIM card, still inserted in a Huawei device that has only a physical SIM slot and no eSIM support at all, so their record is simply wrong. I supplied the IMEI, the ICCID and screenshots. The final answer was that nothing can be administered through digital channels and that I must visit a retail store to have the SIM replaced. That is the core failure. A prepaid product sold to tourists and holiday-home owners, where an incorrect database entry can only be corrected in person, at a store that may be a long drive away, is not a workable product. Chat support, the app and the portal exist but resolve nothing. Not recommended — neither for the network performance in season, nor for the support experience.

It’s beyond horrible.
I’m on a short vacation in Croatia and bought a €25 eSIM from HT on Monday. Today is Friday, and I still can’t use it. The problem is with the HT eSIM, and HT needs to issue me a new one. I chat with them daily. After waiting 5 hours on their chat, the only response I got from Elvis C. was: “Molimo vas za malo strpljenja- please be patience.” For comparison, I contacted my T-Mobile carrier in the US and the chat lasted about 10 minutes, and they confirmed the issue is with the HT eSIM, not with my brand new, unlocked iPhone. Extremely disappointing customer service and support.
