Dress shoe quality in a sneaker
Over the past 2 months I've purchased 3 pairs of sneakers from 2 online retailers. Idrese was one of them. I was specifically looking for a pair of Navy Blue sneakers with Gum soles. Idrese offers a unique feature that allows you to build your own pair. Want a patriotic red white and blue sneaker? No problem. I went middle of the road and built my Navy Blue with gum Sole. Idrese advised me to order my regular shoe size (9D). I placed my order on June 25th and they arrived exactly 2 weeks later. The moment I opened the box I realized these were quality shoes. Wonderful leather smell, the fit and finish of a solidly built shoe. And speaking of fit, break-in time was exactly zero! Maybe it's the metal shaft and real cork lining in the midsole. Try to find that in a sneaker at this price. This is my first pair of Idrese and I guarantee it won't be my last!

Decent shoes, poor customer service.
I ordered 2 pairs of Nuno sneakers in White, size 8 and size 9 on May 15, 2026. I typically wear size 8.5 US and they don't do half sizes - at least not in that style. I figured I'd get one of each, keep the one the fit the best and return the other. Even if it cost me a little bit. They initially charged me for both pairs of shoes. Without reaching out to me, they refunded me for the size 8 and only shipped the size 9, which arrived on 6/29/26. Unfortunately, the size 9 didn't fit at all. I reached out to find a resolution to their support email address and got no response. I then contacted them through their website and got a response. We eventually worked out over email that I would send in the size 9 shoes in exchange for the size 8 shoes. I tracked the return shipment and USPS claimed it was delivered on 7/10/26. I reached out on 7/16/26 to confirm the delivery and check the status on the exchange. I got no reply. I reached out again on 7/21/26 and 7/22/26 and got no reply. I even checked my spam folder on the off chance later emails got sent there and they were not. I might buy directly from a store as the shoes seemed of decent quality. But I would not order from the Idrese website again. All because the communication was not sufficient. A 24 hour wait is fine, or even next business day over a weekend. But nearly a week is unacceptable. Changing an order without communication is unacceptable.

Shoe quality is acceptable but....
Shoe quality is acceptable but..... Just be aware the company says free shipping but I learned a month after receiving my shoes, that the import fee of nearly 40 dollars was billed to me by the carrier. You get DHL shipping but then FedEx bills you for customs. I have no recourse unless FedEx reimburses me which has not happened. If the company adjusted its shipping and overall prices to reflect what changes in real time, I would be more likely to recommend.

AVOID! Poor sizing / returns service
If you get the fit wrong, you're up ish creek without a padel. They splash free returns around their website, and then hide the fact that this only applies to the US in their delivery FAQ page. How do you ship SHOES and not offer returns for sizing!!! So in the end I got the wrong size and needed to pay 20% of the value (60 bucks) to return and customs duties from Europe. So I elected to not do the return. AVOID!

shoe size issues
The sizing is completely wrong. I gave them both my shoe size and the actual measurements and the shoe that arrived is at least one size bigger than it should. I have being byuing the same shoe size for 40 years so am confident I know my size and certainly the shoe provided is not to size. I suggest you be careful not to end up looking like a clown when wearing the shoes. I will probably donate to the circus!
