Fake followers and bots beware

I signed up for this service hoping to grow my Instagram account organically. During and after using the service, I experienced a significant increase in fake or spam followers. Even after canceling my subscription, the fake followers continued. I ended up spending hours manually removing and blocking these accounts because they were hurting the quality of my audience and engagement. I contacted the company asking them to remove my account from any promotion or growth systems, but the issue continued. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this service. UPDATE **Update in response to the company’s reply:** The company responded by saying it is impossible that the fake followers came from their service. I want to be very clear about my experience. Before signing up with this company, I did not have a problem with large numbers of fake accounts following my Instagram page. As soon as I signed up, I began receiving hundreds of new followers, but the accounts were obviously fake and did not engage with my content. This was especially concerning because the company advertises that it delivers “real, targeted followers without ads or bots.” The followers I received did not appear real or targeted. Many had the same general profile style, similar pictures, very little activity, and other obvious signs of being fake accounts. I contacted the company about the issue and ultimately canceled the service. However, the fake accounts never stopped. Every few days, more accounts with the same appearance and patterns continue to follow my page. I cannot see the company’s internal systems, so I cannot say exactly how the accounts are being generated. What I can say is that this problem began immediately after I signed up for their service, never happened to me before using them, and has continued even after I canceled. Simply saying that it is “impossible” does not address the timing, the pattern of the accounts, or the fact that the problem started as soon as I became a customer. I am asking the company to investigate properly and remove my Instagram account from any campaigns, databases, networks, or third-party services connected to my subscription.

Hi Ely, We’re sorry to hear that this has continued to concern you, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few important points. After reviewing your account, we confirmed that your subscription was canceled on November 10, 2025. At that point, all campaigns associated with your account were stopped, your Instagram account was disconnected from our platform, and we no longer had the ability to interact with or direct any activity toward it. We also permanently deleted your Kicksta account from our system following your request. Because of that, it’s simply not possible for Kicksta to continue sending followers to your Instagram account nine months after your subscription ended. Once an account is disconnected, our platform no longer has any access to it or ability to generate activity. We’d also like to clarify that you were using our Accelerated Growth option. While this feature can sometimes attract followers who are less closely aligned with your target audience than our standard organic growth, it does not use fake followers, bots, or follower-selling networks. Kicksta has never offered or promoted fake followers as part of our service. We completely understand why unexpected followers can be frustrating. However, based on our records and how our platform operates, the activity you’re describing could not have been generated by Kicksta after your subscription was canceled. Totally fake followers.

Totally fake followers. All the accounts that follow come in batches Every few hours I get spam notifications of 10-15 new followers all at the same time. Then, when I check, these accounts are not real people. Key signs: - Accounts are less than a day old - About 50% of the accounts only have 6 posts (and exactly 6 posts) This is a total scam.

Because of that, the followers gained through pods can sometimes vary in quality. Unlike our core growth method, we don’t directly control or filter those users, so we can’t influence their quality in the same way. If that’s the case, the best approach would be to disable Growth Pods and focus purely on targeted growth, where we interact with audiences based on your selected targets and filters. Its a total SCAM - all the followers are international click farms the followers profiles all contain 6 images or posts and have zero relevance or interest in your profile or posts.
