I had placed an order for a dress and within less than 48 hours the bride and I decided that it wasn't the right color for the wedding. It happens. I went to cancel the order because I found a different dress that I liked better in the right color and they wouldn't let me cancel it. They told me the dress was already being made even though on their website it said the order had not been processed yet. I called them out on it, they pretty much told me too bad. They offered to give me a partial refund of less than 20% on a $120 dollar dress. We went back and forth for a while with their customer service being super unhelpful. They pretty much told me to deal with it. All of these dresses are dropshipped from China. The dress has been sitting in LA for days and days. It missed the day that it was supposed to be delivered and when I reached back out to them, again, they pretty much told me: well your event isn't for a few more weeks so it'll be fine. This is one of the worst companies I've ever had anything to do with. They're shipping, customer service and follow through is atrocious.

I was desperate to find a nice dress for my mom, so I decided to give Lavetir a try. Unfortunately, the whole experience was disappointing. Canceling my order was difficult. I requested cancellation before the order was shipped, but they shipped it anyway. When the dresses arrived I was disappointed with the quality, fabric, fit, and patterns. Some of the items honestly didn’t seem like they should have passed quality control. For the price, I’ve seen much better quality, fabric, and patterns at Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, or David’s Bridal. What frustrated me even more was the return process. Lavetir wants to deduct a 43% restocking fee from my refund which I think is extremely high. Even a 25–30% fee would be more understandable. I really wanted this order to work out, especially because I was just trying to find something beautiful for my mom. Unfortunately, it didn’t!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!If I could give this zero stars I would. I bought two mother of the bride dresses (thinking I could just return them easily if needed and I needed to) boy was I wrong! I contacted the company because the dresses that I received were not accurate according to the website description. Amongst a few more things that were just awful about the dress. Went back and forth with the company through many emails. I felt like they were playing “Let’s make a deal” with me. They came up with all kinds of excuses and different percentages they would offer me, but never a full refund. I finally contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges. Save yourself the hassle but your formal wear in an actual store.

The dress that I ordered arrived well…
The dress that I ordered arrived well in time for the event. Customer service also promptly responded to an inquiry. The dress fit like a glove! The material was soft to the touch and had a nice weight and drape. I would definitely order from this company again.
