Recently purchased Lucid Gravity. Within first or second week of having the leased vehicle, had mobile service book appointment due to a microphone failing in Bluetooth. After mobile service rescheduled and pushed appointment another additional week, tech attempted to replace microphone and ended up cracking windshield. Took vehicle to service center and was told about a week for repairs. Going into 4th week now. Service Costa Mesa not answering calls, must enter phone number and they’ll return call…. Must try two-three times to get someone to call back. Extremely frustrating and would highly recommend customers think twice before purchasing….

Lucid repeatedly overpromised and underdelivered We purchased our Lucid sedan on July 4 and were told it would leave South Carolina the following week. That information was incorrect. We later learned that the vehicle remained there for several more weeks before finally arriving in Rocklin, California. When we picked it up on July 31, we found multiple problems during the walk-through. The salesperson created a work order, but it took until August 20 to begin addressing the issues. On Monday evening, August 24, I was told the vehicle would go into the shop the next day. On Wednesday evening, I was informed there were complications and that it would not be ready until Friday. I was also promised in writing that it would receive a complimentary wash. When I arrived at 10:14 a.m. to pick it up, the car was filthy. No one walked me through the completed repairs or explained what had been done. Instead, the salesperson took it back to be detailed while I waited in the showroom for approximately one hour and 42 minutes. When the vehicle was finally returned, the salesperson and I found adhesive residue in several areas. He tried unsuccessfully to remove it himself, then took the car back into the shop. After another 24 minutes, I asked for my vehicle. It took nearly 15 more minutes for them to bring it out. I spoke with the sales manager and explained how disappointed I was with the poor communication, lack of oversight, and condition in which the vehicle was returned. From the inaccurate delivery information to the delays and poor quality control, Lucid repeatedly overpromised and underdelivered. At this point, I no longer have confidence in the vehicle or the company’s customer service. I want Lucid to buy back the car so I can purchase from a manufacturer that provides better communication, quality control, and support. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend buying a Lucid until the company improves its internal procedures and customer-service standards.

I bought a pre-owned 2024 Air GT. Great car, until I received a message about an update which I accepted since I was on a phone call and clicked ok without thinking about it too much. As I was skipping through the ok, I noticed the phrase "1 hour 20 minutes" out of the corner of my eye. And then my car went dead. Not knowing what happened, I called Lucid Customer Care. I could not get through, and the automated system took my number to call me back, saying I wouldn't lost my turn in queue. Suffice it to say, the call never came. Eventually, my car came back to life, right around 1 hour and 20 minutes later. Lesson learned, don't initiate an update if you need the car, apparently updates can make the car inoperable the entire time the update is downloading for some reason. Since it was pre-owned, I had to submit information to the customer care department to get them to link the car to my lucid ID. I followed the directions specified exactly, and the automated customer care line told me someone would get back to me. Three days later, no one has gotten back to me. I called the customer care line again to see if I could get a human to look at this, and to no one's surprise, they took my number to call back "so I wouldn't lose my place in queue". I have no expectation that they will call or respond to my email. I don't know what else to do other than popping into the Lucid showroom and see if there is something they can do to help.

After ten weeks I just received my leased AT 2025 from Dulles Coachworks (body shop) in NoVA area. Im not posting to complain about the $10k it cost to repair what my insurance company (Erie) said could be done for half. But since DCW is one of only two approved body shops in our region, we were at their mercy. During those ten weeks I received a grand total of 20 text messages with "updates" on the "progress" to my vehicle. My rental car return was revised four times and on the fifth attempt they demanded I return the car. I understand. It was only ten weeks. I was out a car for three days before I got the call to pick up the car. I paid $4000+ in rental charges. Add the $1000 deductible and it was $5000. I was out a car for three months of lease payments. Since Lucid is responsible for restricting who can do approved work on leased cars, they ought to have delivery requirements with partners to ensure a fair experience. Lucid has washed their hands of me. I had requested they share in cost of payments I made after 5 weeks and some recognition on the car rental charges. Three more months before I turn in the car, and desperately hoping my car doesn't get dented in the meantime. And I thought keyless entry was my greatest headache. Happily looking forward to saying goodbye.

Exceptionally bad experience! As requested, we arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment at Oakbrook Center Studio. Upon entering the office, I was neither greeted nor checked in, and no staff member inquired about my visit. I just stood there patiently. One person was at the front, busy with another customer, and one was just standing around. Another was busy showing a car, but then went back to his desk and sat there busy with his computer. After waiting approximately 15 minutes, I approached the seated staff member to seek assistance because I had an appointment and had been waiting for 15+ minutes time. His immediate response was I had to go for a test drive! "I apologize, but his body language and response were 'don't bother me' and clearly rude. He, in fact, left his seat and walked away.

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
