Poor custom voice features and cloned models speak errors not in script
Purchased custom credits for business use. The custom voice feature does not allow pauses, which makes it extremely difficult to achieve desired rhythm or pace. It keeps reading part of a URL which is "/pay" as "/privacy" Even when recorded on high quality noise cancelling headset any custom voices are vastly inferior to the off-the-shelf voices quality wise. It is almost as if it performs worse when given a long cloning example recording, rather than a short one. Support did not reply at all to a ticket raised

Schlechte Qualität.
Die Handhabung ist in Ordnung. Aber die Qualität ist einfach schlecht. Die Ergebnisse aus der Erstellung eines Audiobooks sind katastrophal schlecht. Das System unterscheidet keine Überschriften vom Text. Liest alles hintereinander. Und es klingt alles technisch. Geldverschwendung.

Key elements are incompatible. I attempted to apply the use of the “Cloned Voice” functionality to “File to Speech,” and it’s simply not meant for longer files. The website cuts files you upload into chunks of approximately 20,000 characters, while the functionality for the cloned voice is restricted to approximately 3,000 characters long. You immediately run into a brick wall once you upload a decent file size. This is very frustrating, as the whole point of using File-to-Speech is that it is long-form content, and the whole point of using a cloned voice is consistency. However, it seems that Luvvoice’s own system won’t allow both. In particular, until they add chunk size control or automatically truncate to ≤3,000 characters when selecting the cloned voice, this is a deal breaker.
