app doesn't work. I canceled next day 2 and they've delayed and danced and wouldn't cancel and wouldn't refund

This has been a terrible experience…
This has been a terrible experience with this company. As other reviewers have stated, they are impossible to get a refund from. Their customer service while it looks accommodating is probably a bot and nothing is actually done—just endless promises that go nowhere. I wanted this because it has been consistently advertised as a program which you can learn through hypnosis. I have numerous screen shots that show that. But there is no hypnosis with this program. It says it has a new test section that’s out but it’s not hypnosis—just someone talking. They send an email that tries to palm it off as you’re not using the latest program. I just downloaded it—so no its not that. So they are advertising a fraudulent claim. Furthermore the program is awful. It’s glitchy. Wrong words. Wrong pronunciation. Half French—half English in one sentence. You have to answer it incorrectly or you can’t move on. It jumps sometimes through the program. The volume control between each set of exercises is not consistent. You’re either getting blasted or can barely hear what is being said. So you’re constantly keying your sound up and down. And there is no middle ground. It will correct you but doesn’t give you the option on some of the units to repeat it and get it right. When you decide you’ve had enough and will ask to cancel your account and get a refund—they run you around with faux niceness, bot like answers and nothing gets done. Endless emails that don’t address the problem. They offer you a 70% discount for future renewals. Who in earth would want to keep renewing a program that doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do. The reviews here on Testpilot show the same experience I’ve had. It’s embarrassing when you realise it’s the same issues you’re having and you didn’t research it enough. To date I cannot get a confirmation of cancellation or a refund. I would suggest people put a complaint in to the FTC for fraudulent practices. I have also applied to PayPal to refund the payment. Just waiting on that. Also please note—they reply to the reviews but they all say the same thing essentially. It’s just more of the same unctuous super nice bot type reply which has no follow up at all once you email them—again.

i'm looking for practise in dialogue and pronunciation. it might help if you showed in synthesis the corrections to my manner of expressing myself in French. for the rest, you seem to have a good agile rhythm to the conversations with the AI agent.

Good for pronunciation practice
The pronunciation feedback makes me more aware of how I speak. I use it for portuguese and it helps. I only wish it could explain accent differences more clearly.
