My twins and I have just returned from the most amazing trip to canvas family beach in Kos. We had such a lovely stay at Mitsis Family Village. The views from the hotel are absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff genuinely make you feel welcome. The food was great with plenty of choice, and the access to the beach and sister hotels added even more variety. My teens loved the freedom to explore and the waterslides, and we loved the sunsets from the terrace. It’s one of those places where you leave already talking about coming back.

Resort in Corfu. We arrived at the hotel late. There was no hotel porter to help and we were sent from one reception to another with no help then in the dark to find our room. Our air con was not working, we had to get an engineer who arrived the next day. After this it worked well. The restaurant had an issues with flies which was highly annoying when trying to eat. The pool areas had issues with wasps!! All of the entertainment, activities and shows were in French. The communications in the hotel were poor. The bars… another level of terrible! There were queues at every single bar. No one serving, it was ridiculous. There aren’t enough staff or facilities for everyone in this hotel. It needs to be reviewed. The best part was the gelato shop, the kids loved it!

I booked a holiday with on the beach to the Mitsis Faliraki in Rhodes. The pictures showed a relatively spacious single bedroom and bathroom which I booked for myself and my son at a cost of over £3500 for a week. I arrived 19/08/26 and upon entering the room couldn’t believe my eyes. The bathroom was so small that I couldn’t walk between the toilet and sink without turning sideways. To access the shower I had around 8-9 inches of space which made accessing this almost impossible. When sitting on the toilet there was 6-7 inches of space before you hit the sink. My son banged his head the first night due to this health and safety hazard. The bedroom was just as bad as around the bed there was literally 1 foot of space which made it impossible to open the fridge as the door hits the bed so getting drinking water is difficult. I could also not open the wardrobe as the wardrobe doors also hit the bed. I had spinal surgery just over a year ago and I’m now having to move two beds just to gain access to clean clothes or water from the fridge. I have spoken with the hotel and whereas they have been perfectly polite they have no desire to assist me and I have also explained to them about my spinal issues. These issues could very easily put me in hospital. I will be seeking legal advice once home as to me the pictures shown of the room I paid for do not match what I have received which is false advertising. The only power sockets in the room overlap the tops of the beds which means leaving things plugged in to charge is unsafe as you could hit your head on the plug. 5-6 feet away from the bedroom door is a lift for the staff to take dirty sheets away which is also noisy and annoying. Today they woke me up at 6.30am. I have pictures and video evidence of everything I was offered and what I sadly received. If you want a nice relaxing holiday don’t book with on the beach and think twice about the Mitsis in Faliraki as there customer care is poor but polite. I even stated that if I needed to pay more for a room that is safe with regards size for two people I would but this was ignored. I asked for the name of the hotel manager and they have refused to give this to me. The Hotel itself is nice but a five star room is 100% NOT what I have received. A very sad and disappointing experience with both the Hotel and On The Beach I am sorry to say. On the beach did nothing to help me whilst i was away, the room i paid for was NOT the room i was given HOWEVER. A very nice lady called Louisa Gunther who is the front office manager of the Hotel got involved and after a day she managed to find me a bigger room which was more the style/size that On the Beach had sold me. Without her intervention my Holiday would have been ruined and in my eyes unsafe. So Thank you Louisa!

I was left very disappointed with Blue Domes. The promotional photos simply do not reflect the reality of what you actually get. The rooms are tired, poorly finished and, in my opinion, would struggle to justify a 4-star resort rating, let alone the 5-star experience being advertised. The furnishings felt cheap and dated, almost as if they had been sourced from an IKEA clearance section. Our original room was so poor that we requested to move. It took 48 hours for this to happen and, while the second room was larger, it wasn't any better maintained. The shower barely produced more than a dribble of water, and the attachment holding the shower head to the rail broke on first use. Despite housekeeping attending daily, this was ignored for the remaining five days of our stay. I would not be surprised if it is still broken now. One thing that became very noticeable during our stay was how much effort seemed to be put into arrival day. When we arrived on Thursday, the restaurant was well stocked and the ice cream parlour had over 10 flavours available. As the week progressed, standards steadily declined. By Wednesday, the ice cream parlour was down to just two flavours. Interestingly, on the Thursday we departed, everything was suddenly fully stocked again and back to looking as it had on arrival day. The main restaurant served largely the same food every day. Even on the advertised "Italian" evening, the only noticeable difference was an additional pasta dish, with the rest of the offering remaining virtually unchanged. The fruit was often served warm, and there were frequently flies around the dining area. There is also a fresh fruit and juice bar available until lunchtime, with prepared fruit pots in the fridges. Unfortunately, the juice dispensers often looked dirty, and the juice itself appeared stagnant and unappetising. Another major issue was the sheer number of guests. The resort appears to pack families in to capacity, resulting in a daily battle to find a sunbed around any of the pools. Unless you were out extremely early, finding somewhere to sit was difficult and frustrating. To make matters worse, most days by lunchtime there were no clean pool towels available, and the towel stations were often left unattended with nobody available to help. The resort's condition was summed up perfectly on our final day when I saw a member of staff attempting to repair a broken sunbed using glue, a hammer and nails. While I appreciate staff trying to make repairs, it highlighted the overall state of the resort and reinforced the feeling that this was nowhere near the standard expected of a 5-star hotel. Restaurant reservations were also impossible to secure once on site. Fortunately, we had booked ours in advance. Even then, our experience at the South American restaurant was poor, with the wrong drinks and dishes brought to our table four times within 30 minutes, despite there being only a handful of occupied tables. The water park on the hill was another concern. While the slides themselves are good, there appeared to be little or no supervision. During our visit there were no lifeguards or staff actively monitoring slide usage, and we witnessed adults and children climbing back up the slides, creating multiple near misses. Given the potential for serious injury, this felt highly unsafe and something that should be addressed urgently. The kids' club was equally disappointing. The area itself was clean and the staff were friendly, but there seemed to be very little interaction or engagement with the children. I stayed with my child during one session and ended up organising games involving several children myself, while the staff largely stood and watched. That is not what I would expect from a resort promoting itself as a premium family destination. The final disappointment came on departure day. We booked a shower room for 30 minutes before leaving and were given a room key, only to discover the room was a 10-minute walk away. After getting a lift on a buggy, we arrived to find flooded floors, piles of dirty towels, used cups and overflowing bins. It was completely unacceptable and a fittingly poor end to an already disappointing stay. On a positive note, the resort was generally clean and the pools themselves appeared well maintained. The staff were also generally pleasant. Unfortunately, those are the only positives I can genuinely highlight. Overall, Blue Domes fell well below expectations. The marketing promises far more than the resort delivers. For the price paid, I expected a much higher standard of accommodation, food quality, service, maintenance and guest experience. A huge disappointment and, unfortunately, not somewhere I would return to or recommend.

Mitsis Village Rhodes hotel (5 stars): We arrived 01:30am on July 18no concierge meeting us, have to wait 30min for room keys and take our luggages ours self to room as recetpion didn't call any concierge again. After arriving to room we found louds of ants running on floor after asking reception staff we been told its nature lol, their will send cleaners to clean it. ANTS IN ROOM ALL HOLIDAYS, cleaners cleans floor, but their keep coming back. Food is good, animation team doing good job keep you busy, but their walking arround and asking leave positive reviews on Google so don't trust Google reviews about hotel, their might not gonna be honest reviews. Aqua Park on top of hill, most days its very WINDY and its too cold stay up and enjoy. Location its about 1 hour from airport with private transfer longer with bus. Hotel good for relaxing holidays as its no sellers walking arround hassle buy you something (like spa deals etc) it has plenty of shops arround hotel for souvenirs. Beach its by hotel, but you need walk up to 10min over bridge cross street from main building or wait for van it can take 7 people's every 15min so if its a lot people's waiting you better off walking.
