I would not recommend Mobelaris

Ordered a Saarinen inspired tulip coffee table early january and finally received it today (late August). Whilst I fully acknowledge there was a clear and upfront indication of long and potentially uncertain delivery timeline, which I willfully accepted, and that the product is meeting my expectation in terms of look and apparent quality, the experience of dealing with Mobelaris is what motivates the rating. I will not order from Mobelaris again, and would not recommend doing so (at least for products which are not immediately available for delivery). What ruined it for me is the unpleasant and arrogant attitude, despite being polite and professional, I encountered throughout my multiple interactions with the support team. Whilst I experienced fairly rapid turnaround for my requests, the general tone (and the un-helpfulness) of the communications is at best frustrating and frequently irritating. The general feeling is one of talking to a lawyer whose primary objective is to aggressively mitigate any form of liability, reminding you of specific terms and conditions items (even when not particular relevant to the question at hand), and staying short of providing any form of meaningful help. I am now looking forward to reading the answer to this review, which (based on previous examples ) will probably go through some fine details of past interactions, reminding me of specific terms agreed upon when placing my order, or the fairly immaterial offer of some financial compensation/gesture for delays incurred, etc. The professional, polite yet unpleasant tone, however, leaves a general feeling of unease and a strong desire of taking any future business elsewhere... === Update following Mobelaris feedback === I am glad the Mobelaris team formally acknowledged that my side of our interactions did not show my irritation (regardless of the number of email addresses being used, phew!), as I generally thrive to keep a polite and professional tone myself. When it comes to how the answers I received from Mobelaris made me feel (frustrated, irritated, etc.), one would typically argue that I am entitled to my opinions, controversial as they may be... As mentioned, I am satisfied with the product, but will now take my business elsewhere...

In the previous communications you had with our team, they always provided the information you requested. Even when it wasn't immediately at hand (such as the estimated arrival date for the container), our team got back to you with this information once it was confirmed. None of these concerns were mentioned in any of your replies and we would have appreciated the opportunity to address them if they had been brought to our attention. As can be appreciated in the communications you had with our team, we tried our best to assist and offered options and solutions, but customer cooperation is also required. We are glad to hear that you are satisfied with the product itself. Horrendous- 8 months to deliver 4 stools and one arrives with a snapped leg. Never ever order

Never order from this company. Ordered in November 2025 and finally received my order (of 4 bar stools) in August 2026 and one arrived broken! They fobbed me off continuously with shipping delays/excused about the war etc. They then offered me a 70% refund of one stool if I fixed a broken one myself! After stating consumer regulations they sent me out a new one but then as per their terms and conditions they do not dispose of the old one so now I have to make another trip to the dump to get rid of the broken one. I would never ever order from this business again and would highly recommend nobody ever does

We'd like to clarify a few points regarding your order. The order was signed in conformity without reporting any incidence to the courier even though this was required and several reminders of this protocol were provided. Only one product was damaged due to transportation. Despite this, we didn't reject the claim even the POD is used as a legal evidence in claims of how the product was delivered to the recipient. The compensation offer was a proposed solution based on your needs as you didn't wish to wait any longer for a replacement. After you rejected this, we arranged for the shipping of a replacement as soon as possible. We are based in London, UK and follow the English law. The two proposed options (compensation and refund) comply with English law; we recommend you review this as well. We would also like to remind you that, our Terms and Conditions, along with our return policy, are available for everyone on our website. Additionally, you were informed that we do not collect damaged products, this was clarified in the past to avoid possible confusion and inconveniences. Collections always have a cost, and if you required this additional service, you could have informed us directly, instead of leaving this review, so we could request a quote from the courier and send it to you. Our policy takes into consideration the environmental impact of logistics. Arranging a courier collection and a subsequent return transit solely for the purpose of disposing of a damaged product creates unnecessary carbon emissions. Since the item ultimately needs to be disposed of, you can handle this process directly, which significantly reduces the environmental footprint. If you were unsatisfied with the products, (which is not the case) you could have rejected them directly before the courier delivered them. We sympathize with your situation, but we must also clarify that this review contains defamatory information and untrue statements, simply because we were unable to collect the damaged item in accordance with the contract we have with you. Eames lounge chair and ottoman

I had already bought chairs and the same Eames lounge chair for one of my sons and was absolutly delighted with them. It is easy to order and if you are not sure about what to choose, you easily get any help you need. The customers service is really reactive and helpful. 14 to 18 weeks is a long time to wait but It is worth It.

Very poor communication and unrealistic delivery estimates

I ordered a Noguchi Style Coffee Table and paid in full on 5 March 2026. At the time of purchase, the advertised lead time was 12–16 weeks. Throughout the waiting period I repeatedly contacted customer support, but I only received generic updates stating that everything was still "on track". No one could tell me whether the table had even been shipped. Only after I insisted and spoke to a representative by phone did I finally learn that the table would most likely not leave China until mid-August, with delivery expected around September or October. This was far beyond the originally advertised timeframe. At that point I requested a full refund. Initially this was resisted, but after further communication the company agreed to cancel my order and issue a full refund. Unfortunately, the refund process was also delayed beyond the timeframe they had promised. I had to send several follow-up emails before the payment was finally processed. To be fair, I did receive the full refund in the end, which is why I am not claiming that the company refused to return my money. However, the overall experience was very disappointing: unrealistic delivery estimates, lack of transparent communication, repeated generic responses instead of factual updates, and a delayed refund process. I cannot recommend purchasing made-to-order items from this company based on my experience.

Please know that this is not reflective of our usual standard of service, and we are taking steps to ensure that this does not happen again in the future. Additionally, it's been 18 weeks since the order was placed which had a manufacture time frame of 16 weeks and although we normally cannot cancel made to order items after 14 days (as confirmed in our terms and conditions in accordance with the law), we made an exception for you and before this, we also offered commercial compensation in case the time frame was exceeded. We would like to clarify that customer support has provided information, assistance, options and solutions for you, the status updates are sent by a different department in batches depending on the information provided by the supplier but these are not generic. If there are any further issues or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will be more than happy to assist you.
