Literally a waste of my time
Literally a waste of my time. On 02.08.2026 I ordered a pair of Rayban Jackie Ohh 601/T3 sunglasses. Website shows they were available to buy (and still does) and their website suggested a 14 working day delivery window. Some orders may take a little longer.... fair enough as the sunglasses were significantly cheaper than elsewhere in the UK. Also these are not prescription sunglasses, so it should be fairly quick delivery. On working day 13, I emailed Opticians Direct as I had no update as to the progress of the sunglasses. I was then informed it would potentially be another 2-4 weeks ONTOP of what I had already waited. I then decided to wait 1 more week and see if a definitive delivery date could be provided.... it couldn't so I re-ordered elsewhere and cancelled the order. I had the sunglasses delivered in 24 hours by the another supplier, for only slightly more than what Opticians Direct charged me (and they were delivered from Germany.) At no point did Opticians direct suggest the sunglasses were effectively on back order with a 4-6 week+ lead time and at no point did they actively update me as to the progress of my order. I had to chase them for any updates. Would not recommend if you are looking to buy a "popular" pair of sunglasses. Only good point was they did provide a full refund when asked.

If only had NO Stars!
If only had NO Stars! Joke! 2-5 Days to have a pair of Ray Bans delivered…. and 10 days of chasing later get told “slight delay with shipment of 2-3 weeks”! “slight delay” - it will be Autumn by the time they arrive! Tried to support a UK Company instead of alternative European companies offering the same product at a cheaper price - but lesson learned > read the reviews first.

15 working days and no order received
I placed an order for 3 pairs of “in stock” Ray Ban glasses on 9th August. 10th August I received an update to “acquiring frames”. It is now 28th August, 15 working days later, and nothing. So frustrating as the website implied that the glasses were in stock and that delivery would be 2-5 days.

I ordered sunglasses on 12 July. Still haven't arrived and it's 28 August. Winter is coming!!
