Australia here. Hi, This review is long overdue so here goes. Backstory: When my previous Internet provider finally cut off the ADSL2+ network and wanted to put me on the NBN, I had already been looking at other options. I pushed back at their insistence that we move over to the NBN as I found their "My way or the Highway" attitude on the nose. We already had conduit coming in with two twin pairs, ours and the neighbors. They had already moved across to the NBN so the conduit was ours. No they wanted to put a new conduit down and that would of created a whole bunch of trouble getting things hooked up to the existing cabling inside the house as we had recently put a second story . I already had a ZTE-MF90 4G pocket Wi-Fi Modem that I had used when the telco had gone down, so knew this was an option. I used it as my modem and fed it's USB output into my Archer VR2100 which was the main router in the home. I took up an Telstra offer and ran with that for 12mths. Then changed to Optus for a month until they had network issues then the Belong which is a subsidiary of Telstra. But their charges went up to $80/mth so I looked around for options. I came across a Vodafone offer which was too good to pass. After a year it went up a few dollars, but they gave more data so that's fair. I contacted Vodafone later to clarify a couple of things and and got offered a better deal. So now I pay $64.70/mth for 760GB of data all on the 5G network. So I can't complain. Soon after I decided to set up my EZR24-05G. That I brought two years ago. Yes I know, I should have fired it up sooner. My bad. My original enquiry. I have to honestly say from the initial enquiry with Outdoor Router and Sophies replies was nothing short of fantastic and don't say that lightly. Me asking all sorts of technical questions to make sure everything would work with the Australian Telcos, my existing network, the sales process and delivery I cannot fault. Their customer service an reply to emails even after working hours is way and above of what I expected. The way it arrived, the packaging, the box it came in, what's included in the box and presentation perfect. Then there's the router itself. It's well built, solid, like a brushed grey aluminium case, all the controls are on the back so easy to see, Power, System, Wi-Fi and Mobile indicator leds etc. The antennas both Network and Wi-Fi are of good quality. My only suggestion is I wish the network antennas rotated 180deg instead of 90deg, that way I could aim them towards the four cell towers that surround us. The broadcast strength is excellent. I've walked up all the streets around out home and I can report I can connect ot it a block away! Our closest cell tower is <1km away and our further <2km away according to the Aus Phone tower app. A IT guy from work came and gave me a hand to set it up. We got it all going and the speeds are insane!! That night I noticed there was an software update and went great let's do it. Well something went wrong and it would no longer connect. Opps what did I do. So I emailed Sophie and reacquainted myself. She was very nice and sent me a link to download their Team Viewer app and make an appointment for one of their techs to take a look. I had Astor then later Esten Zhang-Senior FAE Engineer get into the terminal and have a look. Esten found that the update defaults to the newer MBIM protocol which I found out is not currently supported by Vodafone in my area. So he ticked the QMI option and everything went back to normal. Since then everything has been absolutely blazing. I cant complain. But when Vodafone are doing maintenance planned or otherwise, things take a bit of a dive. I've had Esten look at that this and it's one of those things. Okay so what's it like. In a word unreal. I do multiple Okla Speedtests, ORB tests, great app and others to test the network. I'm a bit of a geek if you cant tell. So MY average download speed is 245Mbps down and 25 up. I've had 313 down and 36 up but thats off peak. The numbers when Vodafone are plying around are 160 down and 17up. But I stress YMMV and they are all Network dependent. Conclusion: So for what I'm paying, the speeds and data limit before they train it down is great bang for the buck. Taking into consideration I can change telcos at will and it's fully portable not like fixed Wi-Fi this definitely an excellent option. The router connects to the 5GNR-SA network with a RSRP between -84 and -86 and SNR 22 to 26. But once again this depends on your distance to a cell tower and the network and time of day and the weather itself. I've contacted Vodafone over issues on their side and they tried to tell me the download speed is only 100. lol. I've seen screenshots of Speedtests that can get 5G MmWave of 3300Mbps so I'm convinced that Cellular Internet is the way of future. A big shout out to Esten for putting up with me. Thanks.

I have been leveraging the EZR34T-5G on a remote camera trailer system. The router has held up well in high temperatures and is an integral part of our system. Every time I have a question, their customer support has been extremely helpful. I will purchase another when we build our next version.

Here some positive news. I like the new design of EZR35-5G . Well-engineered . Easy access to the SIM-card holders. And the speed is a lot better then Model 33 . Access to my neighbours network works fine. Altogether a very good investment . Your after sales service is very helpful . Good to talk to a human being and not to a robot.

Very poor quality hardware and software is very complicated. Support is from China by email so difficult to coordinate and not very effective. Due to poor quality router the signal drops continually 5 or 6 times per day usually coinciding with bandwidth IE the more internet you use the more likely the signal will drop. Also, signal quality c.30-40% better with an indoor router and external antenna.

I bought a pre-used EZR35-5G from eBay. I found it would not connect to the internet using my Three network sim card. I contacted Outdoor Router to ask for help. Bearing in mind I was not their original customer, I wasn't expecting to receive the fantastic help provided to me by Astor and his team. They arranged for two on-line support sessions where an engineer logged on to the router and talked me through the process of adjusting the system settings. This did the trick. Router up and running and achieving acceptable connection speeds. However, one problem persisted - the router would lose connection when trying to stream live TV from sites like BBC iPlayer & ITVx. I went back to the engineers to see what could be done. They offered to remotely monitor the router over a period of a few days using the Traversal Cloud function. This helped them to understand the problem, one they had not encountered before. A firmware update did the trick and the router performed without a hitch, providing a stable signal, 24/7. The support team maintained contact with me via the Traversal Cloud function, using the data collected to advise me on the best place to place the router. Once in the best place, my connection speeds went from 40-50MBPS up to 120MBPS with a 5G connection. I am a very happy customer - I have a quality product and have been made to feel like a valued customer, even though I did not purchase directly from them. I live in London and, according to the coverage maps, am not in an area that receives a 5G signal. This router has managed to get me a stable 5G signal which I use in pass-through (modem only) mode to an indoor router and provide for the whole house. I have two young children and this set-up manages their streaming demands without difficulty. As far as the product design is concerned, it does lack the aesthetic appeal of some outdoor routers. That said, now it's up and running that really is not an issue I think about. The value -v- performance is where this router works for me, topped by first-class support from the engineers and customer support teams.
