How are the mighty fallen! Once upon a time Peruvian Connection was a lovely company producing well made, elegant, and slightly unusual clothes. It was also reliable and quick to deal with, if by chance an exchange or refund was needed. However, all that has changed, and I am at my wits end waiting for a refund for a dress I bought for my daughter last Christmas (2025). It didn’t suit her, and besides that, I have to say that the fabric was poor - thin and hard. In very early January I contacted PC online as no returns form or label had been enclosed with the dress, and found out that I had to submit an online request: this was the first of many emails, and also some phone calls to the UK branch. I was repeatedly fobbed off with excuses about technical difficulties with the return portal and the printing of official return labels, so I also got my credit card company to investigate, but to no avail. In early May I did receive a label, with an address in England, and posted the dress, which was delivered two days later. I heard nothing more, so on July 6th I phoned the UK number, and a very pleasant assistant called Maria assured me that my return was on its way to the warehouse in the USA, and that my refund of £269.00 would be made soon after it arrived. I am still waiting, but will not give up! Like so many other anxious and angry customers, I would advise anyone thinking of ordering from Peruvian Connection to think again before making a purchase.

I’ve always found the quality of Peruvian connection to be excellent and have been prepared to put up with delayed orders in the past, but I Really question if I will order again

A Fair Review of a Really Awful experience …
Here is a fair review of my awful experience with this company I had been a loyal customer for around 20 years and spent quite a lot of money . Sadly, I will not be ordering from them again. I returned goods worth around £1,700 and then spent nearly two months trying to obtain the refunds due to me. The UK sales team were always polite and reassuring, but appeared unable to resolve the delay because the refund process is handled in Kansas . Their system is completely inadequate, with delays, confusion with lots of promises but no effective resolution until I involved my bank. Thankfully I have now received my refund thanks to my bank issuing a dispute order and chargeback. My advice is this: only order from this company if you are prepared to protect yourself in the event that you need to return goods. Use the company’s returns portal, pay by credit card and keep every piece of evidence — emails, return labels, postal receipts, tracking information and proof of delivery. You may need all of it if you have to prove that the goods were returned and ask your bank to intervene. Such a great shame, I used to really value this company. But I will certainly not be ordering from them again
