DropTop Amazing
Hello Pith & Stem Team We are absolutely fascinated by the DropTops, and the design is absolutely amazing. The quality is great. The craftsmanship is flawless, and everything is exactly as we ordered it. The wood frame is finished neatly with no rough edges. The electrical connections and hinges are also neatly recessed or screwed in place. Once again, thank you so much for the great communication, the support, and working with us on the pictures . You’re doing a fantastic job.

This desk has been life changing
This desk has truly transformed my workspace. I no longer need to disassemble and pack up my laptop and accessories when moving between rooms. It’s always ready to use and easily stows away when not needed. Definitely a worthwhile investment. As someone who isn’t handy with DIY projects, I hired a professional via Airtasker to install the desk, and they completed the job in less than 30 minutes. The assembly instructions were straightforward and easy to follow.

Great to transform kids room into workspace
I couldn't be happier about this purchase -- shipped out to NYC without a problem. I now have a way to make my kids room a workspace while they're out at childcare, and then fold it all away at the end of the day!

I love my drop top desk. It has transformed working from home. Great service, had to wait a little while for delivery after ordering but all well communicated and arrived within the stated timescales so no issues and definitely worth the wait!

I rarely write reviews this detailed, but **Pith & Stem deserves one — especially for anyone in the U.S. who loves the DropTop but is hesitant about making a significant purchase from a company overseas.** I had been looking at the Pith & Stem DropTop for **over a year** before finally ordering one. Between the cost of the desk and international shipping from the UK to the U.S., this wasn't an impulse purchase. I researched it, measured everything, and even contacted the company before ordering to confirm that my new 24" iMac would fit. When the desk finally arrived, I absolutely loved it. **The quality, finish, design, and functionality are every bit as impressive in person as they appear online.** It truly is a beautiful piece of furniture when closed and an incredibly clever workspace when open. Unfortunately, after having it professionally installed, we discovered that my particular iMac was about a quarter of an inch too tall for the Duo 24 to close properly — even after I purchased a different monitor mount trying to make it work. I was devastated. And this is where Pith & Stem earned a customer for life. Daniel and the team didn't become defensive or make me jump through hoops. They asked for photos and measurements, figured out what was happening, and then offered an incredible solution: **they would replace my Duo 24 with the larger Duo 27 at absolutely no additional cost to me.** No upgrade charge. No additional international shipping charge. No additional import fees. They also made sure the replacement would have **the same custom artwork, US power configuration, finish, and options from my original order.** Then they went one step further. I had already removed and discarded my old desk, so the DropTop had become my actual working desk. I asked whether I could possibly keep using it while the replacement was being manufactured rather than being without a desk for weeks. They agreed to let me keep the Duo 24 until the new Duo 27 arrives and use the replacement's packaging to safely box up the original for collection. **That level of customer service is extraordinary.** It's easy to give a company five stars when an order arrives and everything goes perfectly. I think the better measure of a company is **what they do when something doesn't go perfectly.** This could easily have turned into a frustrating international purchase and return. Instead, Pith & Stem took responsibility for finding a solution and repeatedly asked what they could do to help. For anyone in the **United States who is considering a DropTop but nervous about ordering an expensive, customized piece of furniture from a UK company**, I hope my experience gives you some reassurance. Based on the way Pith & Stem has handled my situation, I would absolutely feel comfortable purchasing from them again. I originally waited more than a year to finally buy my DropTop. **The desk was worth the wait — and the customer service made me even happier that I chose Pith & Stem.** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Five stars, without hesitation.**
