I work out and take care of myself. I have no tattoos and no baggage. The site is full of females who are the exact opposite. Many are smokers, who take no pride in their appearance, are out of shape with lots of tattoos and even more baggage They have huge chips on the shoulders and dont seem like very nice people. It's a free to sign up so obviously it attracts a very rough crowd

Keep in mind that POF is not actually a free platform, despite how it is advertised. You have to pay for almost everything: reading messages, sending messages, and even seeing who has liked you
That is quite disappointing considering the low quality of many matches and the large number of suspicious profiles and scammers. Established dating sites like SttDate.com are transparent that they are not free, but in practice they can be more affordable than POF and much more effective. Conversations there tend to move faster, making it easier to arrange real-life dates. I’m sure some people have managed to meet someone through POF, but for many users it can become a long and frustrating process. And despite the advertising, it is definitely not a truly free service.

Too many of people on POF talk to you…
Too many people on POF think it's okay to you like you're dirt, Imagine saying things like if you can't handle a woman with curves or can't handle a woman with children then it's your loss and swipe left or if your under 5'11 jog on. They really have no clue how to speak to other people... They don't seem to realize how bad it looks. They're too full of their own self-importance to think of anyone else and it shows.
