I was a bit cautious when I found a 50 year old vendor-specific IC listed as being in stock. This just seemed far too good to be true. However I placed an order - the price was quite reasonable although of course international shipping is expensive from the US (but that's the case with any vendor) - and it was shipped promptly to the UK, arriving in less than a week. I also had personal follow-up on the order from Everett, who was incredibly professional. I can confirm that the parts are also absolutely genuine, and were properly packaged with antistatic protection. The faulty equipment has now been restored to full working order.

I use Quest Components for rare, obsolete and or a deal on bulk purchases. Found them a couple years ago on a suggestion from a respected friend. Ive made countless orders and everything always arrived safe/secure, well packaged in anti static material, prices are really good and so far everything has been as advertised. One small thing that was more my fault than theirs, they do have an offer (you just check a box) to either ship everything when it’s accumulated (not all items have same shipping date) or to ship separately as they arrive. Of course, I thought “yeah, send it as quick as possible, if that means multiple packages, so what?” Well, I didn’t think that the extra packages would cost me additional monies….. of course it would; Quest gets charged as well. I just neglected to read the entire box I checked -as it was clearly marked that extra monies would be charged. Again, not the fault of Quest at all, on the contrary it’s actually a nice offer if you need specific items earlier than others. Also, I should point out that the additional charges for additional shipping charges were very nominal and more than fair. Just thought I’d mention that in the case there’s another quick clicker like myself (I’m guessing there are a few of us out there). Long story short: Quest is a reliable online retailer for electrical components especially the rare and now obsolete. They ship fast and price is great. I always get email updates from them on every step of every order. If you’re on the fence, time to get off and give Quest a shot.

Avoid these crooks... they say they have stock but dont, they will charge your credit card before shipping and either don't ship or short ship. Tim and Marrisa don't respond to emails or answer your call after they take your money...

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
