I could not praise this company enough, from the start of my arrival in the country to the end. They have looked after me with a professional manner that i could not fault. I was kept informed and advised in all my procedures. Felt totally confident that i was in good hands. Superb care all throughout. Part 1/3 — My Honest Hair Transplant Experience at RenewX Healthcare, Antalya (5000 Grafts, DHI Method)
This is the first of a three-part review series of my 5000 graft DHI hair transplant with RenewX Healthcare in Antalya, Turkey (July 2025). I’ll update again after 6 and 12 months — but based on the first phase alone, RenewX earns a full 5/5 stars and my strongest possible recommendation. Why I Chose RenewX After researching nearly 20 clinics over two months, I discovered how dangerous the Turkish hair transplant industry can be — especially in Istanbul, where too many “hair mills” cut corners and leave people scarred for life. I spoke to clinics that pressured me for cash, avoided telling me who would actually perform the operation, or aggressively pushed extra services and hidden costs. That said, I know there are high-quality clinics in Istanbul, but they are often overshadowed by aggressive marketing from low-tier operators. During my research, it became clear that separating good clinics from bad is difficult — which is why I ultimately chose RenewX Healthcare in Antalya, where transparency and professionalism stood out from the first contact. Pre-Operation Experience From the moment I arrived in Antalya, everything ran like clockwork. Selay, my main point of contact, was phenomenal — arranging airport transfers, hotel bookings, answering all my questions, and even visiting me with the clinic owner Emre the day before surgery to chat by the pool. The personal touch was outstanding. Operation Day The operation took roughly 10 hours, performed by Seda, a true hair artist with 8+ years of experience. From hairline design to extraction and implantation, everything was meticulously planned. Hygiene standards were good, communication was constant, and I was involved throughout. Even small details, like minimizing graft time outside the body to maximize survival rates, were done correctly. Local anesthesia was slightly painful but easily manageable. The surgery itself was mostly painless — I even fell asleep during the procedure. I was never left in the dark, which says a lot about RenewX’s professionalism. Recovery and Aftercare Aftercare was equally professional. I received full post-op instructions, medications, a neck pillow, and personal video guides on how to wash my scalp. My head swelled significantly (expected after 5000 grafts), but the team stayed in contact throughout my stay and after I returned home. Selay checked in regularly, answering every question quickly. I never felt abandoned or “done with” after the payment was made — a major issue with many Turkish clinics. I faced no issues during my recovery, and the healing process has been smooth with everything progressing as expected. Summary and Advice • RenewX Healthcare offers real expertise, fantastic customer service, and excellent value for money. • No aggressive upsells, no shady practices, no hidden fees — just honest, professional treatment. • This is not a paid review — I’m writing this because people deserve to know how to avoid the nightmare stories I came across during research.
