The communication was fantastic
The communication was fantastic. I bought a dress only two weeks before my 50th birthday party and it was too big so I emailed to say I needed the small. I was in such a panic but the girls said to order and new one and they would refund the medium once it arrives. The refund was processed within a week and the smaller size arrived within days. The dress was absolutely stunning.

Extremely disappointing customer…
Extremely disappointing customer service from Mia and her manager Lucy. The dress looked terrible in person and did not sit or look as represented online, even after I purchased a second size trying to make it work. After years of loyalty and significant spending, Runaway refused a one-off refund for two unworn, tagged dresses. Apparently customer loyalty is valued in words, not actions. I’ll use my store credit and never shop here again.

RUNAWAY FROM THIS BRAND
I was initially really impressed with Runaway The Label and genuinely loved the dress I decided to keep. However, unfortunately, my overall experience was really disappointing because of how my returns were handled. I ordered multiple dresses/sizes to find the right fit, with the intention of keeping one, and returned the others simply because they weren’t right for me. I was then told I could only receive store credit rather than a refund. My biggest issue is that the store-credit/exchange-only policy wasn’t clearly communicated on the product page. The only reference I could find was a Refund Policy link tucked away in the bottom corner at checkout, rather than something clearly highlighted when purchasing or in the order confirmation. I contacted customer service hoping they might be able to make an exception given the circumstances, but unfortunately I felt there was very little understanding or flexibility. It’s a shame because I actually really liked the dress and had a positive impression of the brand initially. The way this situation was handled, however, has really tainted my overall experience and I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending Runaway based on the customer service I received.

Exceptionally poor customer service
Exceptionally poor customer service. The clothes i received felt very poor quality, similar to Shein. They refused to refund me and only offered store credit. Check their policies before you order! Never had such a bad experience with an online retailer!:(

Gaslit me & refused to help with accidental order
Returns!! I accidentally placed the wrong order and Messaged immediately (a few minutes after accidental purchase) asking for support and I was gaslit. They said sorry you should check your order better and read the fine print before ordering.
