SAV incompétent: Colis livré en entrepôt depuis 3 semaines, dossier bloqué (CC0000295458)
Disque dur sous garantie livré au centre de collecte Seagate de Saint-Witz depuis début août (RMA #IR60489467). Malgré la preuve d'achat transmise et validée, le support (Dossier CC0000295458) boucle en me redemandant indéfiniment mes coordonnées et en prétextant des "enquêtes" sans que personne ne traite le remplacement. Service client déplorable et désorganisé. J'exige l'expédition immédiate de mon disque de remplacement.

Unreliable (which is not what you want for a storage device)
I was working on a big project using my 2TB Seagate (which I only purchased 2 months ago). I stopped for lunch and when I came back, my computer was stuck doing an update. When it finally finished and had restarted, my harddrive kept making a buzzing noise and wouldn't open. I have taken the harddrive to a local computer repair shop and it looks like all my files, photos and work are unretrievable. I am absolutely crushed and devastated because I have lost SO much work and lots of precious photos. Tried to contact Seagate but their "24 hour online chat" is always closed.

McKinley gave excellent customer care
My harddrive broke and I have a lot of important data for my work and clients. The 5* isn't for the harddrive but the excellent customer support I received from McKinley. They were very informative, kind and patient with helping me come to what will hopefully recover my data. Definitely deserves a bonus of some sort if this is the care they give at work daily!

Title: Serial numbers registered as 1TB but drives report only ~500GB – warranty refused Review text: I purchased Seagate Expansion Portable drives that were sold as 1TB. Seagate Support confirmed that the serial numbers (NAAYS733 and NAAYS731) are registered in their system as 1TB products. However, when connected to a computer the drives only report approximately 500GB of capacity. Seagate stated the drives are out of warranty and outside the supported warranty region, so they will not offer a replacement or exchange. They directed me to contact the seller instead. The clear mismatch between the capacity registered against the serial numbers and the capacity the hardware actually reports is concerning. I followed Seagate’s recommendation and will pursue the matter with the reseller, but the situation left me without a resolution from the manufacturer. I am sharing this experience so other buyers can be aware of possible capacity discrepancies and the limitations of regional/out-of-warranty support.

They email stating ill be refunded, then didnt and stalled repeatedly
Got an email from seagate telling me i'd be refunded, they didnt and keep sending me round the houses.....and have had had to file a chargeback, these people are disgusting
