Worthy Experience
Very good service. Ok, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. 25 year old kinetic watch stopped working. Seiko got it working again and without me asking, replaced all the link hinge pins in the strap. The watch was sparkling clean when it came back to me and in a much better box than I sent it in. I enjoyed getting my watch back, I don't mind spending money on service like that.

Très déçu par Seiko et la gestion de la garantie J’ai acheté en boutique pour mon mari, une montre Seiko qui bénéficie d’une garantie de 3 ans. Malheureusement, celle-ci est défectueuse. J’ai donc naturellement contacté le service après-vente du magasin afin de faire fonctionner la garantie. À ma grande surprise, ma demande de prise en charge a été refusée. Acheter une montre d’une marque reconnue comme Seiko, au prix de 400 euros, avec une garantie de 3 ans, et se retrouver sans solution face à un défaut est particulièrement décevant et inconcevable. Ce n’est pas seulement la panne qui me déçoit, mais surtout l’absence de prise en charge et le sentiment que la garantie annoncée ne me permet finalement pas d’obtenir une solution. J’attendais de Seiko la fiabilité de son produit, mais également un service après-vente à la hauteur de l’image et de la réputation de la marque. Pour l’instant, mon expérience est malheureusement très loin de ces attentes. Une garantie n’a de valeur que si elle est réellement appliquée. Très déçue de mon expérience avec Seiko, je bannis cette marque à tout jamais!!!!!! Et la déconseille fortement. C'est dommage, elles sont pourtant très jolies mais le SAV est primordial, et dans mon cas inexistant!!!!!!

I just received my 31 year old seiko…
I just received my 31 year old seiko kinetic back after service and capacitor replacement - I am delighted with the service. I had previously sent it to seiko service in Ireland... Twice, and wasn't at all pleased with the service and when I pointed out what was still wrong with it, they wouldn't acknowledge that it hadn't been properly repaired and returned it unrepaired. Seiko UK are completely different - the watch has been returned to me in perfect working order. It both functions and looks like new. I'm so pleased. Thank you 🙏🏼

Service department going the extra mile
I'm an independant watch repairer in Leicesr and i don't have a sale or parts account with Seiko. My partner doesn't have the best eyesight but has a specific taste in what she likes and she decided she liked a watch on eBay that was a discontinued model, she picked it because of the size and clarity of the hands and dial. Unfortunately, the bracelet was too short so i scoured online and because it was a rare example, i drew a blank. I bit the bullet and phoned to see if Seiko could help but they didn't have any and told me it was discontinued. I explained the situation and the lady said their was one other possibility, she was able to do a world-wide search from all the service centres and found the netherlands had <5 so she ordered them to the UK and the watch is now on my partners wrist. Quite frankly i'm blown away by how much this lady helped - just for a couple of links. 5 stars from me!
