My first ever 3d printer is Cetus mk1 by Cetus / Tiertime on Kickstarter, received in February 2k17. It is truly a workhorse and still a good working printer after 6 years 🖨️ 🖨️ 🖨️ Although, it had hiccups along the way, team Cetus / Tiertime staffs who attended to my support tickets are professional, honest and most of all, friendly 🥰🥰🥰 Most importantly, Tiertime has been very kind enough to provide replacement parts even when my Cetus mk1 is out warranty 🤯🤯🤯 Now still it prints like new 😉😉😉 The trust established by Tiertime is enough that I backed their Kickstarter campaign again with Cetus 2. So far it works and when not, Tiertime staffs has proven once again that they are helpful in solving my problem. I understand Cetus 2 is still a work in progress, it's a risk I gambled, and thankfully Tiertime, in turn, has been supportive that makes me believe I made the right decision in backing their campaign once more ✨✨✨ So I can definitely recommend Tiertime 👍👍👍

My upbox is a nightmare to figure out…
My upbox is a nightmare to figure out the kinks in it. First the wifi is intermittent and works when it wants too. Second when printing in tiertime abs I get a nozzel too hot issue. Looking deeper I noticed that the software tells the printer to heat nozzel up to 280. When the software in the config says 260. Hugh discrepancies in how the software communicates with the printer. You set the temp for 3rd party filament like 205. It shoots up to 215. When you print. Very bad software programming. There has not been any software or firmware updates in a very long time to correct issues some people are having with their software and printers. Sure when the printer works, when it does. It prints great. Print quality is top notch. However when it comes to software and firmware stuff. It's plagued with issues that has been neglected. Wifi issues, nozzel to hot issues, problems using 3rd party filaments, nozzle too cold issues. Like I said there has not been any firmware updates and software updates done in a very long time. For a very expensive printer ya think the company would be on top of stuff like that. Especially when someoone dumps 1400 on this machine. Most if not all companies always keep on top of firmware updates and software updates.

Super slow respond time from support.
Super slow respond time from support. Support is helpful, but only respond every 20th day 😪 and when your printer doesn’t work.. it’s extra frustrating. Hope you will do better in the future Tiertime. I do like your product.
